Cool ship; great giveaway! I'd change the ending to Quantum Leap. The whole premise of the show was for him to get a leap home and the years he spent doing all that...terrible ending. We already knew he was a great guy willing to make sacrifices. Also, I'd rewrite the giveway you're doing so that my name comes up. *wink*
How did I ever forget about Quantum Leap, it's up there with Sliders, Stargate and Farscape for shows I grew up on. What memories, now I have to do a marathon.
Thanks for the opportunity to win this ship! I’d love to see an alternate ending to Avatar, where humans and Na’vi learn to coexist peacefully, benefit from each other's knowledge and culture in a collaborative way. The focus would shift toward scientific research and mutual growth, rather than militarization or conflict. Greetings from Switzerland!
Tis the season. This is an awesome giveaway!!! I would love the Expanse to be extended and have a proper ending. One of the best Sci-Fi TV shows, such a shame the way it ended.
Thanks for another great giveaway! I would love to experience a different perspective of the storyline in Cyberpunk 2077. I'd like my boy Jackie to keep that relic inserted and to be his best buddy that helps him deal with all the shit that results from this decision. Also, a decent revenge carried out by ourselves to a certain well-known fixer would have been bliss. See you in the Major Leagues, Jaquito
Thanks for the opportunity to win this awesome ship! Just saw it earlier in some reviews - angry little beast!!!As for the question, I would have used Windows Me as a base for Skynet. It would never have worked properly, Terminator would never have appeared! :)
Congrats on the growing channel and kindness in the community!! For the Sci-fi story I'd change would be the possibility of Mace Windu not being cut down. The chance of Palpatine ending right there could've caused an enormous shift in the life of the entire Star Wars universe.
I would go with Starfield. There was so much buildup regarding the “Creators” of the universe and then the game ends with you essentially starting all over again. I was hoping for venturing into a black hole and meeting alien life or something a bit more mysterious
The generosity and helpful spirit of the SC community never ceases to amaze me. Im going to have to go with something that isnt technically finished but also doesn't have a confirmed continuation and that is The Orville. When I started watching it I hated the first episode but I fell in love with it after the third one and would love to see it get a third season and maybe even more!
I know that some people don’t consider full Sci-Fi but Lucy for me. The concept was so interesting but the ending was rushed and poorly explained. Good to all in the giveaway and thank you for organising it. Happy holidays! 🎉
Wonderful video as usual, keep up the great work. One particular sci-fi series that felt a bit rushed was the series "LOST". They should have provided a more concrete resolution to the mysteries of the island, with the characters finding a way to escape and rebuild their lives, while addressing the island's supernatural elements, instead of leaving so many questions unanswered. Thank you for the opportunity to win 1 of my dream ships, fingers crossed and see you in the verse. o7
What a great giveaway! I'm going to go with the low hanging fruit and say The Last Jedi. They turned Luke Skywalker into the very opposite of everything that character stood for. Plus the cool force ghost trolling of Kylo Ren was ruined when he died immediately afterwards for no reason.
thanks for the opportunity to enter the giveaway! (the guardian is a ship Ive been dreaming of for years, small with 2 big cannons and a little hab for a plucky bounty hunter like me) Personally I feel like interstellar should not have had a happy ending for Cooper, as it completely undermined his sacrifice, I'm not a director / screenwriter, so I don't exactly know how the film should show his sacrifice and the aftermath, perhaps show a montage of the scientists and his daughter murphy figuring out spaceflight / wormholes due to his sacrifice, and the flourishing new society among the stars, although I'm not sure how that would turn out.
Thanks for the opportunity! A lot of people bring up the Star Wars Sequel Trilogy, and I want to bring up the newer Halo game series' campaign. 5 tried to do some subversion like TLJ, and 6 ditched practically everything like RoSW. Personally I would've like to see the Created takeover story continue, and the AI theme not only echoes old lore, but it's also very topical nowadays.
The generosity of not only CIG, but also SC content creators is truly quite a beautiful thing! I've seen it in the comments already, but I agree with it, I would love to see a proper continuation and ending to The Expanse. Having the show left open ended as it is isn't enough for me. Hmmm, maybe I should rewatch it...
Thank you for continuing to host these giveaways! I think I would alter the ending over Avengers Endgame so that time travel/multiverse shenanigans weren't the path taken. I think that would dramatically alter a number of the other movies which would be interesting to see play out.
Thanks for the giveaway! I'd change 2001: A space odyssey. Instead of the aging chamber, Dave ends up in Pyro an now waits a lifetime for basebuilding. Also the monolith has been Chris Roberts all along. :)
I love this ship! thanks for giving us an opportunity to win it! :) I would have changed the ending of the Firefly series so it didnt end, but continued for at least 5 more seasons. That show was way to fun to be cancelled that fast...
Congrats on the channel growth! This quickly became my go-to channel for ship overviews, high quality and quickly hitting on every point. If I could change any sci-fi ending it'd have to be the Star Trek Into Darkness ending. The fact that someones superblood can just cure any ailment just makes no sense and it seemed like the easiest out to keep Kirk alive.
Thanks for beefier fury! Neo defeats Agent Smith but realizes Zion is just another layer of the simulation. The final shot shows him waking up in an even larger system, his eyes filled with doubt as the cycle begins again.
Thanks for doing the give away, that is a damn good looking Tie Interceptor. If I could change one thing, I would have leaned more heavily into Leia being as strong as Luke in Star Wars. And with Vader blowing up Alderaan right in front of Leia's eyes? You've got all the ingredients you'd need for a Luke Vs Leia Vs Vader Vs Palpatine cluster-mosh-saber-off in episode 6
Cool giveaway lease! I would change the ending of Dune part one, I don't like the way the story just stops on a big cliffhanger, so I would change it that it has a more closed ending in which you can see a clearer picture of where the story is headed. Thanks for the chance to win this amazing ship, keep up the good work👍
The Ewoks go full beast mode, taking down Stormtroopers with rocks, logs, and pure chaos, then accidentally trigger a chain reaction that blows up half the Death Star. Love Your videos :3 Greetings from Germany
Wow, what a great giveaway, this ship looks awesome! There are so many bad endings in not just sci-fi but any tv shows - it's hard to wrap things up! But one recently for me was the expanse - in the last season I kept wondering how they were going to wrap things up, there's so much going on, and they even ramp it up for the last season. But then, it just ends, with a bunch of open questions. If they knew they were going to end they should've adjusted the story from the books, not added on new story elements, and focused on wrapping up the already many threads. Also, The OA on Netflix ended abruptly, but I dunno if being cancelled counts as an ending.
So awesome of you to hook up this giveaway, thank you. Galaxy Quest: Instead of having the show cast & crew revamp the Galaxy Quest series for the fans in the movies I would have enjoyed seeing at least half the cast join the Thermian Crew instead of just Fred. Would have better set it up for a sequel that would probably have been awful and wonderful at the same time making it my new guilty pleasure.
Thank you for the chance! The Martian: I would have left the rescue part to Beck, as he was the EVA specialist, and not to Commander Lewis, even if it was meant to emphasize her attachment and sense of responsibility.
Star Wars for me, agree with you. My change would have been the empire in overdrive. After the Rebellion destroyed the 2nd Death Star the Empire stopped being lead by a cult and actual military strategists would have taken over. The major enemies would be a series of Grand Moffs led by Grand Admiral Thrawn. With the empire putting warships on mass production, doubling down on enforcement. The series would have featured an advanced new combat doctrine of the empire's fighting machine. The complete outlawing of the Force at all by the empire. With the Rebellion being in a full scale galactic war that's pretty evenly matched. I'd have the plot of the Jedi revolve around Luke's Jedi Academy, and a secret Sith Cabal trying to awaken the Sith of the old republic eras, and unearth the secrets of force users who where known to whisper planets out of existence with the force. And have deadly, focused enemies. It would explore the Old Republic eras, usher in a new age of lore. Bring back the Sith in a way that makes sense. And create a sensible, dangerous background for the whole storyline. Such as Jedi being forced to explore Ancient Sith lore to track down their enemies. All the while the Empire is kicking and fighting with all of its might, but is being smart now. Making the universe cunning, dangerous, and scarier than ever. I am entering the Giveaway please.
The Paul Sinclair novel series(Jack Campbell) - I wouldn’t change the series ending per se but I really wish I could have seen that universe better explored. Definitely wanted to see what trouble he would get up to on Mars.
Yet another high quality trailer far an amazing ship! I would like a version of Starship Troopers that more closely follows the book, specifically I think the arc with Rico and his father has a lot of awesome screen potential.
Nice giveaway. That's a great ship. Annihilation. The ending felt too ambiguous for me, so I’d rewrite it to provide more clarity about the shimmer's influence and the fate of Lena and Kane. But part of me thinks the mystery is what makes it unique.
I'd change the ending of Halo 4, so that Chief would be able to safe Cortana. I loved their interactions throughout the Halo Games Series and now having a "new" Cortana at the End of Halo Infinite doesn't really feels right. Great Giveaway, thank you
The expanse. I would change the ending to the expanse from Amazon an I would change it in a way that I wouldn’t let it end. That show came and went and left me with countless countless! Questions amazing show loved it. Thank you for the opportunity and good luck to everyone!
Thank you for this cool giveaway! ( an the others ) aswell for you review's they realy help a new player get at little better insight in all these ships an what they can do , The Gaurdian looks very cool :) I'd change the ending of the Halo Series to after a season more so we can acc get one and not a clif hanger , to bad they canseled that show Greatings and Mary xmas from Denmark
Thanks for such an insane giveaway again it’s just crazy. I usually agree with the endings of most films but the death of Palpatine just is stupid like why would an evil genius who literally planned every hand movement of other people go down in such a weird coincidence when his whole megalomaniacal plan of taking over the universe worked perfectly and also it felt good seeing the evil win. After that Star Wars turned from great to kinda mid for me.
Oh boy EvenLease you are smashing these videos! The editing and timing on that amazing soundtrack is just phenomenal, love the transitions and transparencies used across all your stuff. THE goto for pervy shots of ships and showcases. Edit: I love this community, there are some incredible ideas.
Star Wars The Bad Batch : [warning for spoilers] Tech would still be alive as a brainwashed clone that the Bad Batch would have try to save. Even tho his definitive death adds so much depth to the show, Id love to see him develop his relationship he started to build with the pirate girl. Btw you make very qualitative content mate, always a pleasure to watch your vids, love from France ♡
Great giveaway, Thanks for making all the review videos. I look to them to decide if I want that ship or not. StarGate.. I would change the end and have them make their way to another world so more sequels could be made.
Roy delivers his final “Tears in rain” speech, grins “Time to die” and then slumps forward. Deckard looks at him, rain running down his face, blinks, and then his eyes close…fade to black. Did Roy’s final words apply to them both? Were they from the same batch? Does Deckard die too, or is he simply exhausted by the exertion and emotion of what will be his final job? You don’t even need to re-edit the movie beyond cutting a few minutes early. Blade Runner, for those who arent familiar.
Can’t wait to see more ships that look like distant cousins of Star Wars ships! I would probably change the killing off of Mace Windu, I wish we could’ve seen more of what he really was capable of. Also more Samuel L. Jackson is always a bonus lol
Thank you for that incredible giveaway! On my end instead of an end, of a serie/movie, I'll talk about the end of a character, Alex Kamal (I know the controversy about his actor), But, if they wanted to also end the serie here (which is a crime imo!), they should've made him go with the rocci, which is almost his ship, like the Captain sink with his own ship, in some sort of a desperate fight, I think dying from all the Gs he took was still kinda canon to how it could happen, but dying in a boom would've suited him better.
Thank for "The Tie Interceptor" presentation, if I could write an ending it would be Stargate Atlantis, no return to earth, more info on the Lantians, ships smaller than the Auroras and something other than the jumpers, the E2PZ how do they work? their manufacture? Etc... So many questions that will remain unanswered...
Thanks for another great give away! The ship closely resembles a tie interceptor so a Star Wars themed change seems appropriate. In return of the Jedi when the super star destroyer looses control I would have it smash through the Death Star, overloading the shield station on endor.
Thanks for the giveaways man! In the hunger games I didn't like that Katniss ended up living with Peeta and no Gale. Gale did so much for her and he was always there for her before the games started, Katniss and Peeta bonded over trauma. Happy holidays everyone
Going with an easy choice, Star Wars 7-9. The general story line being how Luke ran a small order, Kylo eventually betrays/turns to the dark side. Knights of Ren is formed and is a small force of Dark Jedi. Kylo leads them, the New order is built up from the Empire. The Knights eventually prove to be their own downfall as each tries to usurp the others for leadership. Kylo turns out to have a shadow master in the form of Palpatine. In general the movies would showcase more of the dark side of the force and how the New Order operates. While the light side of the force is more of a background story that eventually comes to sway Kylo. Perhaps explained more in another trilogy.
Firstly, thank you for giving the opportunity! Secondly, I watch your vids all the time so you’re a genius for this, now I’m subscribed 😂 Thirdly, if I had the ability to rewrite the ending of any sci-fi story, I’d choose War of The Worlds 2005 with tom cruise! Instead of the Aliens dying because they were vulnerable to the microbes so fast, I would have changed it so that the aliens very slowly started dying like of disease of a long period of time spanning years! Showing how maybe even what the aliens since they seemed so advanced, how they could have tried to adapt and even show them potentially doing studies on humans to try and find a “cure” for themselves!
Thanks for the opportunity! I'd have to give a change to Alien 3, preferably the entire movie, but an alternate ending in a way that better shows how Weyland Yutani got the sample and cloned the Xenos in Resurrection.
Just watched your review of this ship and gotta say you do a great job at this, as soon as I heard you "It's a 10/10" I knew that I would love this ship. Me and my Father have always agreed that the Siths and the Empire should have gotten a lot more wins in the Star Wars movies so that's definitely what I would change about the story.
Tough question, I generally enjoy most sci-fi but I feel it's not usually just the ending that went in the wrong direction but an overall feel or impression. My pick would actually be the expanse, the ending comes at a natural point. But boy would I have loved the possibility to see a bunch of alien planets and exploration if they had continued. Almost akin to Stargate.
The Guardian is a really cool ship. I'm glad to see that they've gone back to basics, the variant is just a straight-up upgrade from the base model. I don't know if we've seen that since the Kickstarter era with the Freelancer and 300 series. There's something nagging at the back of my mind about your question, so I might add to this later, but for now, Quantum Leap. The show getting cancelled after filming had wrapped for the season, so that season's finale just ending with a black card saying, “Dr. Sam Becket never returned home.” I would give it its final season.
Thanks again for yet another opportunity at a crazy nice prize! For myself, there's probably a lot of sci-fi or cyberpunk endings I would like to see changed. However, one of them that stands out the most to me currently, is Altered Carbon... Basically the entire second season was just one massive plot hole, leaving so many unanswered questions, and speculation. I loved the show, but what a disappointing position to leave it in.
The guardian is an amazing vessel. Would be awesome to fly it out in the verse. Thanks for the generousity. Here's an alternative ending for the War of the Worlds: As the aliens succumb to Earth's microbes, a small group of humans discovers a surviving Martian. They realize that the aliens are not mindless invaders but rather a desperate species fleeing their dying planet. The humans and the Martian form an uneasy alliance, working together to repair the damage caused by the invasion and rebuild a new world. This ending explores the possibility of interspecies cooperation and understanding. It suggests that even in the face of conflict and destruction, there is always hope for reconciliation and a brighter future.
Really appreciate the giveaways :D I’d rewrite the ending of Ender's Game. Instead of only quietly leaving with the Hive Queen’s egg, I would add snapshots of the future. This is to signal, that the story goes on for a good while. Perhaps sparking interest in the consumers to look it up and read the books, or for producers to show how much more material there is.
Awesome looking ship you have there and congrats on the channels growth! I would change the ending of The Expanse. From not having an ending to having a proper conclusion.
Thanks for the giveaway! The first thing that come's to mind for me is the ending of Contact (the film, not necessarily the book). I would have liked it to end in a more hard sci-fi way, more in line with how the film started, instead of the spiritual undertone of the original ending. I find it also rather unfulfilling that no one believed Dr. Arroway in the end.
Nice giveaway! Your videos are becoming phenomenal, Farscape for me, I would show the true ending of each character that made it to the end of the series. Grew up watching it and I wasn't completely happy with the way they ended the series.
Thank you EvenLease, btw absolutely loving your content! Oh boy where do you go with this as so many scifi movies tend to have weird, odd or cliff hangars.... One that I felt was supposed to lead to another movie and unfortunately left my hanging was chronicles of Riddick. However I am not sure what I would change
Great giveaway! If I could rewrite the ending of one sci-fi story I would probably choose The Rise of Skywalker. I'd likely take a lot of inspiration from the leaked Duel of the Fates script as I felt it had a lot more unique ideas than RoS.
Great giveaway (again); thank you. I'd like to see a version of Aliens from the aliens' point of view. I know it is going to be short on dialog, but the POV aspect would be fantastic.
Hey Even. Cool giveaway man. Thanks for hooking up the community. I would definitely undo all the damage that Kathleen Kennedy did to Star Wars. Specifically, her turning Luke Skywalker into a disgrace, killing him off, and then replacing him with Ray. Hope I win!
I would like to rewrite the ending of Star Wars VI. I always liked the idea of the Grey Jedi, a sort of balancing in the dualism of sith and jedi. Luke would have been a great grey jedi, who loves and explore the sith world, without being evil.
Wow these giveaways are awesome. Thanks! Honestly this may not come across as Sci-Fi, but man the Ace Combat series has an amazing story throughout, especially AC7 for me where we got the different viewpoints of characters around the war and how the connections with the main character grew. Honestly I can't really think of what to change, but it kind of had a mix of Sci-Fi, Modern Combat, Jets etc. and this appealed to me.
As always, the aesthetics of your video are fantastic. This should have been the ad for the Guardian. I would still like to rewrite Terminator, saving Arnie in the process. That hydraulic press was not a respectable ending for the Terminator, so it would have malfunctioned, the T secretly crawling out. Now, after getting his lower body and legs back (how? thats another movie!) he would have found Sarah once more, only to step into Kyle's explosive trap and finally get blown up for good. Mankind always wins!
Yo I just found your channel a few days ago and already love your vids! I would also give the empire more of a story but also think more Jedi should’ve survived order 66 and have them to reform and strike back so that the first order never happens :D
I’ve been using your channel for insight on every ship and it’s been so helpful! My rewrite is a bit wild. I’d rewrite a good chunk of Star Wars and have obi wan kill anakin on mustafar. The jedi eventually bring palpatine down and they reconstruct the Order. But keep it smaller as they should have and remain as peacekeepers and not soldiers and generals
Thanks for the awesome giveaway! I love the kind of TIE Interceptor/Whisper look of the wings and the actual interior on a fighter! If I could rewrite the ending of a sci-fi story, I'd probably go with Stargate SG-1. I didn't really like the time-travel-involved finale, and while the 'wrap up the plot' movie was better, I'd have preferred the series be allowed to end in a less... compressed fashion.
Yo I just found your channel a few days ago and already love your vids! I would also give the empire more of a story but also think more Jedi should’ve survived order 66 and have them to reform and strike back so that the first order never happens
Thanks for the giveaway ! In Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi, I’d tweak the ending by showing a galaxy-wide celebration with hints of the New Republic forming, emphasizing the lasting impact of the Rebel victory and giving more closure to the political aftermath.
Thanks for the giveaway! I'd change Edge of Tomorrow, the ending didn't quite hit the spot as opposed to the rest of the movie! It's a Bittersweet moment that Rita can't remember the MC at the end :(
Naturally the first ending that came to mind was the Mass Effect trilogy. The final ultimatum presented felt like it undermined so many of the issues we resolved and decisions we'd already made throughout the series. Seeing the comment about legend of the galactic heroes and making Yang wenli and Kircheis die of old age though... That would be nice too...
Awesome to see your channel a great amount when I first found it. I would change the ending to Mass Effect 3. It fell really off. I fell like the only reason why the did that to the main character at the end, was to end it and wrap it up lazily. (Tried not to say to much to spoil it.)
The Guardians are fantastic, and complete the choice against the Mantis and the Vanguard. Of course with a finish worthy of the latest generations of ships. It has as a bonus a fairly good autonomy and a bed, which makes it even more attractive. In a fleet with a Gladius (for example for the light category), and the Guardian after, it is a magnificent pair that complements each other according to the type of combat desired. In addition, it has a magnificent visual. Thank you for all your high quality videos.
Love the look of the Guardian! I'd definitely have loved to see the Star Wars sequel trilogy be made by someone who actually cared about Star Wars like Dave Filoni, or at the very least have a plan for the full three movies instead of just winging it
Thanks for the giveaway! The shot at 2:05 is so intimidating and sinister; I love it. I'd change the ending of Dune: Part Two. It felt rushed and chaotic. Knowing that Paul is to lead the Fremen into their Golden Age, I wish the movie had sold that more rather than having a short chant and seeing a bunch of ships leave. The music, however, is fantastic!
Thanks for a great giveaway again. I'd probably change the ending of Alita battle angle the whole last 20ish of the movie minutes just seemed rushed and some of the decisions didn't really make much sense. I'd probably cut right before Hugo died and then transitioned to a sequel.
Great give away, my SciFi Changs would be Star Wars a Christmas story this was such a horrible movie I would rewrite the whole movie to have a plot, develop characters and throw in a major twist. No head drinking, exotic dancers, or Wookie talk!
Great giveaway. At the end of Mass Effect 3 have the good ending be that shepard saves the galaxy from the reapers and he somehow survives the encounter. I feel that after 3 games with the same MC, it would be justifiable to allow the community a canon ending where shepard survives and gets to rejoin his crew to help rebuild the galaxy and investigate the reapers further. Thanks
Thanks for all the reviews. Really helped picking ships! Mass Effect 3, one of my all time favorite scifi story, sadly , the endings felt botched. I wouldve love to be able to feel like one of the ending was a win and not a pyrrhic victory.
What a fantastic shop to give away! The last stat wars trilogy needs more than a change to a single ending so I will say this: To give an impression of time and a sense of progression for Anakin to become Darth Vader Revenge of the Sith should not have ended with him in the iconic suit and dismembered and burned as he was. That would also add a bit if mystery to who he js in A New Hope
Happy holidays EvenLease! For me it would be the ending to Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope! Definitely keep the Death Star destruction because that is such an awesome climax, but I’d love to see more connection to Vader at the end of the movie. Some connecting shots of Luke looking into the distance and sensing a change in the force, cutting to a shot of Vader looking into the distance and sensing the same (perhaps within himself!) This ending keeps the destruction of the Death Star intact but changes Vader’s reaction and introduces a lingering ambiguity about his ultimate loyalty, while setting up future conflict.
This is an incredible giveaway! If I get to change the ending of any sci fi series I would choose Legends of the Galactic Heroes. I would change it so Siegfried Kircheis and Yang Wen-Li die of old age. These two would have had such a more profound impact on the galaxy if only they could have lived to see it through.
Awesome giveaway! I would say that I would change the ending to the guardians of Endgame (technically sci-fi?). The whole time travel fiasco seemed way too simple, and because tony was able to snap everything back to normal it felt like infinity war lost its impact. I feel like they should have honestly rewritten the entire story to not revolve around time travel to make Tony's snap more impactful, or to keep the lasting impacts of Thanos' snap. Have a nice day! :)
Man, you have a gift (pun intended) for asking questions that break my mind, this is torture. So many movie endings I would love tto rewrite, but I think of the movies I wish were different is Alien Covenant, David kills all the engineers, whose existence was the biggest reveal in the series yet and I hate that we won't have answers from them, my ending would have been something like this: David deploys the black goo, the Engineers’ defenses activate, neutralizing the attack. Their drones disable his ship, forcing him to land. Captured, David, Daniels, and Tennessee are brought before the Engineers, who reveal humanity’s true purpose: they were created as fodder for the Xenomorphs. The Engineers explain that the Xenomorphs were their ultimate bioweapon, but they needed a species to sustain and challenge them. Humanity was both a farm and a testing ground. Then they leave Daniels with chilling words: “You were never meant to thrive. You were meant to survive... or die.”
This might be one of my favourite looking ships released so far, thank you for giving us so many wonderful giveaways! Keeping with Star Wars, I'd probably change Rogue One's ending, keep the awesome Vader scene but change it so he doesn't see Leia's ship flee the battle.
Awesome giveaway! I definitely would’ve liked to change the way game of thrones ended. It felt rushed and so out of place. There are plenty of changes I would’ve done, but the main one I would change is to have Jon Snow take the iron throne. Drogon melting the throne down seems like such a wasted opportunity.
Right there with you! I personally would’ve had thrawn win in rebels so he could be present at the battle of Endor, if thrawn was there the empire likely would’ve beaten the rebels. An imperial win at Endor would likely change everything about the Star Wars universe! Like the yuuzhan vong invasion would’ve probably ended up much much smoother for the empire!
Nice giveaway. Let's try it then. In my case, I wish stargate series was still going on, even if the original actors couldn't keep up with it. The series finale was a bit underwhelming... I understand it was axed, but it was such a pity... :(
This is easy, I'd change the ending to mass effect 3. Away with the green, blue, and red endings and in with the ending where Shepard unambiguously defeats the reapers with varying levels of ease depending on the choices you made in the previous games. I'm a big fan of that whole 'your choices matter' thing.
Another great giveaway! I'd have preferred if George Lucas had decided to not have his prequel movies be so needlessly connected to the originals, with everyone being connected to everything, Even the droids. The ancient and "dead" Jedi order being taken out just a few years ago, yet being seen as mythological and mysterious, always seemed so weird to me, even as a child.
Interstellar! Cooper arrives, he finds Brand struggling but succeeding in building the colony. And Murphy on the space station, showing her as a leader in humanity’s rebuilding efforts. Her work would echo her father’s sacrifices. And humans taking their first steps toward becoming a multi-planetary species
Love the Mirai Guardian's looks and functionallity. I would change the ending of Mass Effect to not include the child, but instead a more direct reaper interface like a mothership, this is because the child feels kind of like it's out of left field, and directly controlling the mother reaper would make those endings feel more badass and grounded. One addition to that is more involvement of past choices, maybe just as Fallout-style ending slides.
Very nice b-roll at the start. This ship looks good at so many angles. To be able to rewrite the ending of any sci-fi story, I'd definitely have to go with Mass Effect. Most anyone you ask would agree it felt rushed, and I've personally always been a fan of the popular fan theory that Harbinger had attempted to indoctrinate Shepard at the end of the game and everything you're doing during that ending sequence after getting hit by Harbinger's beam is just going on inside of Shepard's head as he fights with the indoctrination attempt internally. It would have been so neat if after choosing one of the options the star child gives you, Shepard wakes up and is either one of two things depending on the option taken; he is either indoctrinated and must do Harbinger's bidding, or he awakes completely immune to any further indoctrination attempts. The former scenario would still present opportunities to break free of the indoctrination so Shepard can still pursue a good ending albeit not the best one. If the player cannot, or does not, do that then the story plays out with a bad ending as Shepard tears down everything he has worked so hard to build up, perhaps alongside his squamates who may also be indoctrinated alongside him. The latter scenario would bring you down a different path that immediately resumes Shepard's fight against the reapers. This could require saving your squad mates who have also gotten indoctrinated, and so Shepard must help them break free of the reapers' influence so they can finally put the last nail in the coffin for the evil genocidal space squids. If he fails to save them, however, then he will not be able to take down the reapers once and for all because he would lack the ultimate weapon, love and friendship, which queues up a different bad ending.
My vote is for rewriting the end of Rebel Moon to make it less inane. In the process I would realize there is no saving it without first rewriting the whole script and I’d try to get one of Peter F. Hamilton’s book series adapted instead. This holds for both movies..
Thanks for the give outXD If I got the chance to rewrite, I will rewrite ‘The Wandering Earth’ It is a great story but I don’t really like the ending that the space station was crashed into Jupiter it feels bad, they should really choose a method that sacrifice less.
Watching the Empire win a lot more would have been amazing. For me, there is one Sci Fi show that sticks out for being amazing but utterly crumbling at the end. The Silent Sea had such a good concept while doing a phenomenal job of building suspense, and also having a pretty decent cast of characters. The problem is that they just sorta let everything crumble with a nothing-burger of an ending that explained nothing, did nothing, and let all of the build up amount to nothing. It was a very tragic flop, and sticks in my head to this day.
Maybe not a rewrite, but I would love to see a conclusion to the Safehold book series. Been a few years since the last book and its not at all where I want it left at 😂. Awesome giveaway, thank you for all your ship vids.
New to the channel but already a big fan of the content, I'm big fan of darker fantasy settings and dystopias so i'd love a darker spin on the ending to Artemis. where maybe the plan goes wrong and the moon ends up as more of a horror setting.
I’d rewrite the entire SW sequel trilogy to slowly reveal Palpatine’s return through Rey’s arc-visions, whispers, and unexplained powers hinting at her dark lineage. Let her grapple with the fear of becoming him, making the final battle as much internal as external. Build tension over three films instead of dropping it all in the last one. Would’ve been way more satisfying than the sudden 'somehow Palpatine returned' twist.
Serenity: Wash would of lived.
😢😢 absolutely!!!
Like a leaf on the wind
…watch how I sore.
as someone who remembers Windows ME too well... yep
I don't know... 1000 AI powered Clippy clones inserting themselves where they don't need to be would have driven the population to madness.
Star Wars Return of the Jedi: the Death Star collapses into a black hole upon destruction of its reactor so that Palpatine cannot somehow return.
Love Your videos :3
Greetings from Germany
The story of Mass Effect 3 was excellent; I would not change it
witch ending did you get . . . . . . cause that game live rent free in my mind
@dambutter42 I experienced the perfect ending. Indeed, the Mass Effect series profoundly influenced me during my formative years.
( an the others ) aswell for you review's they realy help a new player get at little better insight in all these ships an what they can do , The Gaurdian looks very cool :)
I'd change the ending of the Halo Series to after a season more so we can acc get one and not a clif hanger , to bad they canseled that show
Greatings and Mary xmas from Denmark
Star Wars The Bad Batch : [warning for spoilers]
Tech would still be alive as a brainwashed clone that the Bad Batch would have try to save.
I would change the 'thumbs up' scene from Terminator 2 to a middle finger scene - cinematic perfection
Secondly, I watch your vids all the time so you’re a genius for this, now I’m subscribed 😂
Thirdly, if I had the ability to rewrite the ending of any sci-fi story, I’d choose War of The Worlds 2005 with tom cruise!
I just realized that you said the exact same thing but at least we agree!
Here's an alternative ending for the War of the Worlds:
As the aliens succumb to Earth's microbes, a small group of humans discovers a surviving Martian.
Some connecting shots of Luke looking into the distance and sensing a change in the force, cutting to a shot of Vader looking into the distance and sensing the same (perhaps within himself!)
This ending keeps the destruction of the Death Star intact but changes Vader’s reaction and introduces a lingering ambiguity about his ultimate loyalty, while setting up future conflict.
So many movie endings I would love tto rewrite, but I think of the movies I wish were different is Alien Covenant, David kills all the engineers, whose existence was the biggest reveal in the series yet and I hate that we won't have answers from them, my ending would have been something like this:
David deploys the black goo, the Engineers’ defenses activate, neutralizing the attack.
