- The Mitsubishi Mirage seems to go slightly unnoticed in the Japanese manufacturers range, as its Mitsubishi Outlander and Mitsubishi L200 models are highly popular.
But as the Mitsubishi Mirage offers compact supermini credentials, it allows Mitsubishi to venture into the small car market and tackle lucrative competition like the Ford Fiesta.

Unlike its larger Mitsubishi L200 sibling, the Mirage focuses on offering low running costs with a line-up of efficient engines. The Mitsubishi Mirage is also very affordable to buy.

Had my mirage CVT for 2 years in white never had no problems at all
Been very reliable
I had a Mirage3 as a hire car a while back. Overall I really liked it too. Fuel economy was ridiculously good - 61mpg according to the computer when I handed it back. The standard equipment was also excellent. The only thing I would disagree with in this review is the 3-star for 'ride and handling' - a bit on the generous side. The handling, unfortunately was quite poor, and the steering was weird and numb. Otherwise though, great wee car and nice to see a positive review of it.
I already thought all reviews of this car are mega negative.Since I own one of this cars with VCT, and I really like it, I appreciate a fair review like this one.
Hows your ride holding up? I too own a CVT Mirage
The mirage leg and headroom are excellent contradictory with his review.
Had my mirage for 2years it great and so economical on fuel ⛽️
That is a very kind review based on the majority who give the Mirage a hateful rating. Love how he calls it fun to drive which is how i feel about the car the few times i had the pleasure of driving one and note this car has a manual which i understand is tons better than the CVT equipped car.
Tons better? The CVT7 is perfectly suited for the Mirage.
@Michael Martinović Not true my friend. The torque is only 74lbs on a Mirage. Thats very low and high torque applications kill cvts. MirageForum.com has alot of cvt owners doing rideshare and deliveries with their Mirages, with well over 150k miles. Mitsubishi doesnt have the failure rate that Nissan does because their vehicles are underpowered.
Why is he keep on comparing it to the Fiesta?? They're different classes
I CANT WAIT FOR THE MIRAGE TO COME STATESIDE
Road handling and steering is great as owned a Mirage LS.
This is a great car!!! Id love one!!!!
I spot Sefton Park! Didn’t realise it was Liverpool well apart from the accent!
he handles the car roughly!
Where can I get those rims?
Re: 'ride and handling'...
I've read/watched A LOT of Mirage reviews, and this is one of just a handful that calls it 'great fun to drive.'
I've yet to try one myself yet (Mirage just went on sale in Canada last week), but your comments match most reviews, which call out the suspension for a lot of body roll in hard cornering. Then again, who's going to buy this car to do hard driving?
Less is more! This car changes oil and head lights easier than any car I have seen. This car should last a long time.
Hard to understand what he is saying.
Wish we knew how it does on the freeway....
Looks like a nice option for commuting.
The background music when he is speaking is so annyoing to the point where I can barely watch the video..!
Yeah - I think this reviewer is just freakishly tall. You could easily get four 6foot (1.8m) tall guys in this no problem.
Be careful you might destroy the boot the way you closed it!
don compare this to the fiesta but more to the aygo.
its about the same price class better then the aygo and cheaper then the fiesta
Boogie green...
this guy talks like the Geico's gecko!!
Lambo green
Ig
i cant here what he is saying!!
$peak up, please!!
difficult to understand his english.......or maybe another language he is speaking?
He's from Liverpool.
WHAT AN ACCENT, MY GOD HORRIBLE AND HARD TO UNDERSTAND, AH! NO REAR WINDOW DEFROSTER. why?
