The best family car, gives a feeling that its your sibling and when inside, makes you feel you're at home
I bought a second had figo recently, 2010 model which is Petrol ZXI with approx 80K kms run already. Except the Airbags/ABS, it has all the features like full alloy wheels, front fog lamps, rear defogger-washer and wiper, power adjust rear view mirrors etc.
What I liked:
1. At this price point + considering a 10 year old model, I got all the premium features which entry and mid level models of today's i10, swift, ignis, santro etc. don't have.
2. Excellent sound quality of the factory music system. Totally impressed with the sound quality guys! loved it
3. Great steering feel and feedback.
4. Engine is solid, no issues- touchwood. Pulls great and no issues whatsoever.
5. Wider 175/65 default tyres
6. Comfortable seats and interior space
7. Smart looks from all angles.
What I did not like:
1. Expensive service charge. But it is still Ok if its a regular servicing. Spare parts are expensive.
2. Facing recurring issues with electricals like- remote boot will not work time and again, unless rectified by the serivce centre and then again the same issue.
3. Minor rusting issues at the door corners
Overall I am happy with it, coz what I mentioned under 'I dont like' are mostly aging issues and can be justified considering its 10 years age.
Personal recommendation to other viewers who are looking to buy a 2nd hand car- Go ahead with Ford Figo 2010 to 2015 model, if you are getting it in a good condition. You will surely start liking this car. It's a great car to own, looks good, rides well, gives you premium features, good on highways, premium feel - what else you need on a budget for a second hand car?

@@stevewithnojob I got mine at 1.7 lakhs for 80K kms. Just check these things before closing the deal-
1. The most important- See that it does not have any cng fitted. If yes, look for another car. If no cng is fitted and the engine is a virgin petrol one, follow below
2. Ensure it's the 1st owner and you would be the 2nd.
3. Check for rusting areas coz that's a common issue with 2010 to 2015 Figo models. Minor ones here and there are still ok and does not cause any issue.
4. Ensure that all electricals are working properly- power windows, boot, music system, lights, wipers, washers, electric mirrors etc. (Reason- From my personal experience, outside mechanics still have difficulty or rather no clue to rectify any electrical issues, only Service centres can do it).
5. Ensure that you have the music system 4 digit code in the owner book or stuck in glove box. It is used to unlock the music system when the system gets reset (only during a some electric works) else not required. But just ensure, you have it.
6. Check the engine bay to see if things look good and accident free. Start the engine rev a little, you will get an idea.
7. Ensure to get all the docs- RC, Ins, PUC, Owner manual and an extra key.
If the above points are all good, then I would say 1.8L is a good deal, coz you get a premium feature car which is really a good vfm. Avoid people who criticize, coz you will find many, especially neighbours and relatives.
Maintain it well and you can easily use it for another 5-6 years, easily covering another 1 lakh kms very easily bro. All the best 🙂👍

I have a 2013 ford figo EXI done about 67000 kms did not use it much on long drives ... very sturdy and safe on long drives and high speed ....

I am new a driver, recently purchased a used ford figo 2011 model.... Just after one month of purchase I had to drive 600+ kms, believe me it was such a smooth drive, no fatigue, excellent control, I really enjoyed driving..... Only drawback is ground clearance, other than that excellent car it is in the segment

@@stevewithnojob hi buddy, yeah fair price, technically sounds little bit more for such model, but if you feel engine is in good condition you can go for it, but mentally be prepared with ground clearance issue

@@stevewithnojob i would say EON has better ground clearance. If you drive on city roads with decent humps then thats ok, it doesn't mean every humps it hits hard, but with full load, chances are more ....
Dear sir we are having Ford Figo Diesel variant November 2013 Model at that time we paid 6.22 lakhs (on road price) Done 48000 Kilometres already no issues in engine till date one more thing Diesel engine is 1396 ccs.

Dada what's the service cost? And did you change any parts like diesel mei Turbo change krna padta hai ? Also figo has known AC problems, did you face any AC related problem like condenser evaporator or coil? Also last question, 2014 Petrol 53000 km zxi (second top) model kitne mei lena chahiye? MH 12 Gadi hai. Please answer all of these questions.
About service its always advisable to service from Authorised service center,cost is more than maruti but less than Volkswagen...For diesel car u have to service it on regular basis then it wont give u any problem....as such i haven't faced any AC problem ,i must say ford AC's are quite chilling....for the 2nd car u can pay 2.50-2.75 lakhs if u r getting lesser than that then aakh band karke le sakte ho

Service and maintenance cost in particularly petrol variant is not much u can consider 6-7k rs per service cost...servicing should be done from Authorised service center only not from local garage

But my opinion is that ford never compromised build quality .
