English : The idea was born from the passion towards automation and aims to show how a house can perform the functions independently and can interact with humans. The included functions are those of the highest importance as the automatic lights, temperature sensing, an anti-theft system and the control of an automatic gate and a gate. All this will simply be managed via interfaces such as buttons and the display.
L’idea è nata dalla passione verso l’automazione e ha l’obiettivo di mostrare come una casa possa svolgere delle funzioni autonomamente e possa interagire con l’uomo. Le funzioni inserite sono quelli di primissima importanza come l’accensione automatica delle luci, il rilevamento della temperatura, un sistema d’antifurto e il controllo di un cancello automatico e una serranda. Il tutto sarà gestibile semplicemente tramite delle interfacce come i pulsanti e il display.

Ciao la parte meccanica del garage la puoi vedere al minuti 1.21; la cinghia recuperata da una stampante passa sotto la casa dove è collegata ad un motore in continua che ho sempre recuperato da alcuni giocattoli. Il finecorsa è semplicemente formato da due lamine metalliche; l'ingranaggio ha un piccolo spessore che toccando una delle due lamine le mette in contatto, una sorta di pulsante premuto. Questo è collegato all'ingresso del microcontrollore, che tramite un programmino gestisce il motore.

Just saying, not home automation. It's literally just a house, you press a lights switch a light comes on, click a button on a remote the garage opens, click the button on your alarm and you alarm goes on. What's the automated part in this house?
It'll be great if you made it so as you got close to the front gate it would open for you (but only you so no lazy ultrasonic sensors) or the lights turned on where there was motion (so the lights would follow you as you walked) but if you don't got any of that its not really automated
