    Great,that you are talking about this,with some great suggestions.Lost my Dad to Dementia last year and also some relatives.The best tip I would say is remember that the person is still a person and also that it is just as hard for them,as it is for the person caring,family member or friend.

    Thank you so much for this, currently going through diagnosis for my mother in law at the moment and your experience sounds so familiar. We're going to start the diary this week following spending the day with her on Saturday she called on Sunday to ask when we were visiting. Heartbreaking.

    I work in a care home and a lot of the residents have dementia. This is so helpful
