2014 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk driving on hard sand on Long Beach, Robe, South Australia

Long Beach in Robe was a place we had missed seeing on our previous trips. Driving onto Long Beach was a great feeling- and what a spectacular view! South Australia and Western Australia have so many beautiful beaches that you can drive on. According to the Beachport Tourist information lady most visitors don't drive far enough once they get to Robe and completely miss it. ( Like we did ) It is an absolutely beautiful beach and the weather was perfect. We slowly drove along on the very hard sand, and parked the Jeep. We got out and took the dogs for a splash in the water. There were plenty of families set up with picnics, tents and water toys for a full day on the beach.
