Sometimes only fresh air comes out of the dash especially afternoon
I just charged the system with 500g of r134a and its variable displacement the high pressure valve is right after compressor and its reading 100 psi in 105F day! the low pressure is 35 psi its weird cause its blowing cold but how come there is no sufficient pressure difference how expansion happen its 100 psi before condenser so the pressure would drop even more before expansion valve
I never see 100 psi high side on 105f day.

It blow cold after long time about 5 minutes.
Quickest thing to do is recovering refrigerant and recharge it with the correct way and then diagnose

Too much or too little
Forgot about one other thing a slightly restrictive or expansion valve not metering correctly or orifice tube slightly plugged up
Let’s a little bit of refrigerant through which is good under a low load but when it gets hot there’s not enough refrigerant flowing
And does this happen when you’re at idol only or also when the car is driving down the street with the air pushing over the condenser
I was just thinking if you had two fans and one fan was not working so on a cold morning or cold evening one fan would flow enough air to keep the high side pressure down but if it was a hot afternoon you would need two fans and will allow the high side pressure to go to high on a hot afternoon with only one fan
Only one variable fan.It happened from time to time on afternoon when idling or driving on a street.
