2 different places, trains changing tracks, foreign power and more!

- I spent Wednesday in both Lockland and Wyoming, Ohio with Buckeye Freight Railin` @GY51360 @SimonsEMDProductions and @AdventureswithJoeyBoats plus railfan Fred.
We started out in Lockland on the NS line. We got 1 train and then the action just died.
We heard on the radio that a train had gone into emergency on the CSX Toledo Sub near Glendale and their were at least 4 trains backed up waiting on it to move, so we headed over to Wyoming to see what we could catch. We ended up getting 5 trains there!
The first train is the Southbound NS 60C gondola train that I have caught many times in the past. This would be the only train I got at this spot.
We went to Wyoming and the first train was NS 26C intermodal headed North. After it passed, we get the Northbound Connersville, Indiana local with 3 vintage EMD locomotives and a GEVO on the lead of the train.
Once it had passed and after a long wait, we get a shorter length NS mixed manifest that changes tracks as it heads towards me.
Then we get a rare move as CSX I 141 comes South and changes tracks too! This train normally goes down the NS New Castle District in Hamilton, Ohio then it would be seen going through Lockland where we were earlier, but for some reason today they sent it down the CSX tracks.
Finally, we get NS 61C. This is the Northbound gondola train that is the brother to the first gondola train in this video that is headed South.

Yes they do. They said on the radio they had a busted air line. The conductor had to fix it. That can be a long walk these days!

Thanks Gary. No, the surgery isn`t till July 30th. It`s just a local anesthesia thing and a few stiches from what I was told.

The NS mixed manifest was interesting. I'd hate to pay for tires like those for my car or truck! They were massive! There was also a new blue box car unspoiled by graffiti. I certainly appreciate that! Great catch, Scott. Thank you very much! 😊😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤

The Connersville local followed a very short intermodal, which in turn followed a shorter than usual gondola train. You can't say a lot about any of these trains except that any train is a good one. I still enjoy them even if they are short. What can I say? I'm a diehard rail fan. 😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤

The first UP unit was one of thr repaints moving old glory to the front instead of the side where the turbo burns it. Love the gon train😊❤

I shot some slow movers at the Ludlow Train Viewing Platform yesterday 5/29/24. I posted them on my channel. Was the first time for me at that location.
Been there once and won't go back because the trains are so slow. They make Hamilton look like a race track. 😂
Just my opinion: You can get a pole that the camera attaches to the end of it. It would boost the camera up high enough to see what is in those open cars. Another channel I watch uses one to film under water. Another one plans to use a selfie stick to film what is in a coyote den. ❤

Scott did you notice how smooth those gondola cars was rolling by those were the quietest gondola cars I’ve ever heard but anyway my friend another great video and as always you stay safe out there and watch your back and we’ll catch you on the next one

you know Scott both of those gondola pulls could be empties coming from 2 different delivery's! if you could find out who owns that building the other side of the tracks in Lockland and get permission that porch might be high enough to get a look in to those gondolas! i can't figure out why NS slaps C on all their pulls the ones i know all have different numbers so it's not for direction and they don't run passenger runs anymore so it shouldn't be for cargo!
I don`t know why NS does that either. CSX uses letters at the front of the train number. I for intermodal, C for coal, M for manifest are the ones I hear the most. I don`t know if that porch is high enough or not. It`s also a pretty distance from the tracks, but it might be possible!
@@1960gambit it might be high enough for the closest track to it i don't know about the one on the side you're normally on though but on rainy days it could be handy!
It seems like BNSF is running all the trains thru The Lampasas Sub at night starting around 9pm so I try to catch anything that moves during the day, which isn't very much! I need to move to Houston or Dallas/Ft. Worth!
I know what you mean about night trains. I have been trying to get the I&O for months but they are going through around 2 or 3 AM!
