The sliding away from jumping on a slope helps immensely with jumpspotting (silently) Apartments in Mirage repeatedly. You can just jump multiple times and you won't move from your spot. Well, doing exactly that might get you killed by a peeking opponent, so you might still want to move, but you won't have to fight the slope anymore. Also, please report your packet losses. Mine is almost completely gone. Haven't seen it go above even 0.0% in my case. Also also, "Reduced animation-related bandwidth usage" is more notable than it sounds, maybe someone like bird will cover that.
Game feels pretty good now, not sure if its because of this update but I try the game every couple of weeks and the difference in deathmatch compared to months back is great.
People won’t admit this but you’re so right. The game to me feels better than CSGO now hit reg included. I played CSGO 6000 hours and CS2 just feels like a better performing game after all the updates.
@@lukebelvin4900have you actually gone back and played CS GO? CS2 still feels like I’m playing on 60 fps but it’s running on 300 give or take. CS GO feels better and more responsive even at 120 fps I just don’t understand how does that work
Train reveal at Major, it probably needs play testing until next Major 2025 so no official Train in the map pool until after the Major. Edit* I probably should have waited until the end because you said exactly the same thing, hoppsan hejsan.

I remember dealing with that same problem back in CSGO, massive packet loss with, like you say, good wifi. Back then I fixed it by connecting my pc to the router using an ethernet cable but I'm pretty sure that it helps to connect it to a wifi bouncer aswell (with ethernet).
ive also had packet loss in the sent packets the other day ive prioritized the internet for cs2 on QoS or smt like that and it seemed to fix it you can just look it up high prioritize internet on games
I am happy about this update. I hope that till next year ghost bullets will be fixed. At office, a friend of mine hit 2x times in the center of enemy head (no sudden flicks or smth. like this, waited after each shot) and he wasn't hit once. After reviewing the demo, from friend POV he did shot 2x times in the head (even needed to reload). But from enemy POV, not one shot was registered or to be seen flying against him. Which is.... you know... NOT, what we SAW.....
Fps of spray and gun animation feels also stuck at 60 when game runs at 400 to 600 thats also a problem, gun stutter other stuff on the screen is fluid.
3:55 it’s in the bottom left of the screen. Basically the shadows on the ground by the platform and boxes have been removed. You should be able to see well if you look from a main towards the boxes.
i mean the spray is still gonna feel shit, and the hitreg is still fucked so that doesnt change. if you don't believe me, download legacy csgo and play 10 min of aimbots in csgo and 10 min in cs2, the difference is night and fucking day
@zezanje1 problem is that people base their opinion on feeling than actual numbers. I agree that cs2 has "worse" spray, but that is just because people are used to the spray from csgo. Edit: also spray in csgo was abused by pros and now pros mostly 1 tap in my opinion

1:40 crazy that i could provide footage if i recorded it but basically its was like your aiming was left behind where you actually aimed ; an example when u strafe to shoot an enemy in your screen the aim was on him but the game server thought you were aiming the wall
Lag compensation would rewind target hitboxes further into the past than what's on screen. best way to showcase that is to find footage of someone using backtrack.
Finally they fixed they sliding on ramp bug.. Just the other day I tried some smokes on B Apps mirage and i had to reposition EVERY time because there was an absolute miniature slope underneath my feet. Thanks to vavle. They actually did something good here.
I dont understand why the pros are bitching. They bitch about everything nowadays. Its an equal playground for everyone. Or they could just run the major with an old version like they just did for Blast.

I didn't read the patch notes before playing today. Didn't know their was an update but oh my lord. I had 18 kills with 100% hs. Second frag on my team had 7 kills. I carried so hard. Aim on point. Sprays were immaculate. (I was in a bot lobby. I've gone from 20k to 15k lmaooo)

I am experiencing less games with the packet loss issue but it's still at least half my games, before this update it was 80-90% of my games. Maybe I've just been lucky.
I was wondering why coming back to cs yesterday since the first days of cs2, shooting bots heads made their head explode significantly more dramatic and spraying felt a bit better. Wasn't just me.

I play most of my games sub 20 ping and constantly get killed behind walls after walking out of the enemies spray. (not playing much anymore though since cs2 is a horrible dissapointment in so many ways :( ). I F*ing hope that this "mid-spray where lag compensation..." fix is fixing exactly this (a bit of the dissapointment, but mainly the getting registered for hits when you are WAY out of harms way).
so the player model ping issue is still concurrent even in csgo i stream so it happens all the time, when running behind a player and you are close, you will feel like you are connected to their player model and when they get far enough you will be dragged a little or rubber band in a way.

I really don't like train in it's current state. Would have wanted the layout more as in 1.6 and also make it more balanced. It's a nightmare to play if people can't play that map. Would have loved to see some more changes on bomb sites and also adding the balcony and removing the window part on yard. But most of all they need to update cache and bring that map back. That's the best map ever. And also would have loved to see an updated dust also.
Hopefully it gets some changes, I was never fond of it when I was a new player so never really played it when I got better. Also agreed Cache should come first FMPONE is taking foreeeeever

I use Negev many times on CT side in Dust2 but never seem to understand where the spray is going.

the connection to the servers is probably unstable for you. because cs2 uses a lot more network it might choke something inbetween you and the server.
