It seems people think that the rain runs off the roof into the neighbour's garden - it doesn't, it just looks like it does.
Transforming a boring sloped garden into a beautiful nature garden with two ponds connected by a stream, hardy Jurassic style planting and a purpose built 'Shrek House'.
March to May 2019.

just releasing pressure from the hydraulics, possibly a leak.
No not a leak just pressure leaving the barrels, always put your bucket on the floor saves all that uncertainty though
@@Lasttruegrafters I was waiting for someone to say that. I was getting so mad everytime he left it up, that's one good way to force a leak in a perfectly fine seal.
I love how the roof on the shed slopes for water to run off into neighbors yard 😂

I'm blown away by how much was packed into this garden - river, scree, vertical garden, stumpery, fernery, summerhouse, shed, lawn, luscious borders. Superb, well done!

Finally a real garden! I've been watching so many "garden makeovers" that resulted in nearly plant-free spaces with lots of concrete and in the comments people were gushing over the "beautiful gardens" that weren't gardens at all. So this is a breath of fresh air. Very nice!
Absolutely agree. I’ve watched many, many makeovers whilst deciding what to do with my garden and this one is by far the best. Love it.
Some people like simple/clean spaces and some like a dense lush garden. To each their own
so a phone without actual buttons isn’t a phone because the first idea of a phone had buttons?

I just love the planting. Tree ferns are lush, my favourite! Also love how natural the pond area looks. That must be a great wee haven to sit in with the sound of the water around you.

Beautiful! English garden meets tropical. Love the running stream an pools with fish. Walking the path with flower on either side you can touch is being closer to nature. I wish I could make such a dreamy space.

This is exactly my type of paradise in the backyard ..Pond , grass patch , stones , tropical vibe.
Like how all the rainwater from the shed goes both into the garden next door or onto the fence lol. Nice combination of flowers and stone path, yet way too much stone or rather would be nice to see a calmer area to compliment less stone.

yeah it was a beautiful effort, but also a major flaw in design... why even go through the trouble of renovating the entire garden to include a walking path leading up to a structure, if you'd still have to step over plants to get there?? 🤣🤣
They're perinnial plants, not shrubs and the flagstone path can cut the growth of those plants, but yeah overall its pointless or annoying. Its cool af tho with that included... if only the path was wider, but maybe thats the beauty of it. Walking thru a bunch of plants to get to the chill spot. You can do anything with landscaping as long as its done right.
Should have a clear path to the back, would look even better.
@@Noodledarth Wasn't well thought out, I would not have an plants in the middle of a pathway.
That was the only feature that didn't make sense. Overall, it is a great use of the space.
I love the sound of the water plus the wind... perfect place to relax.

What a lovely tranquil setting. A nice touch to do a walk through after some establishment thank you a real gem.
My favorite part was watching the yellow bucket go around, and around. At one time there were two yellow bucket!
Kinda funny that the goldfish in each pond don't know of each other, maybe only through roumors. One day a brave goldfish will take on the journey to get to the other goldfish nation and be the hero.

It is an awesome one off product for learning how to make money with landscaping minus the hard work. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my m8 got excellent success with it.

Wow, that is a LOT of work and what with the video editing too - for that alone you deserve so many more likes 👍🏼. I would love to overlook a living stream whilst sitting out of the UK wind in a cozy little sun trap. Great planting guys, you’ve transformed what was a boring garden into a mini nature reserve and created a fabulous place to soak up the peace and escape.

Thanks Cheryl, you've got the point of the garden :-D Setting up two cameras every day and editing took quite a lot of time, very glad I did though. Wasn't expecting this to go a bit viral! I highly recommend a stream if you have a sloping garden... make it a feature.

beautiful.. doesn't look like a home garden .it is similar to my grandmother's place in the mountain where there is a nature-made stream..its true that the shed doesn't look good on the natural looks but it is okay..its the idea of the owner 👍👍👍👏👏

The sloped roof of that gazebo thing is going to channel the water from any rain onto the wooden fence (rotting it), or into next doors garden.

It took far too long.. a good landscape gardener would of completed in just 4 weeks. This project would of cost the owner 20k plus 😖 most of it labour.. lots of men doing very little each day. I believe the owner could of got it done for half the price unless of course it's the owner and his mates who are doing the work. End result is just ok .. I didn't see any filtration system for the pond going in🤔 did I miss it ?
