It seems efficient and easy at first, but then ends up making people dumb clones of each other, and what they produce with the minimalist software follows (I.E. music producers and graphic designers). When people say they want minimalism, they should instead say they want more space, not a stripping of features and art.
@@JFrameMan I would say Windows 7 is the real minimalism, because it's not cluttered and gets the job done quick and easy. Windows 10 on the other hand has a basic flat boring UI, and has so many duplicate apps and bloat running in the background.
freaking amazing UI. I'd take this coming back over any new updates. Not just for the nostalgia, but because of how clean it looks. Every button transparent, with the exception of the play/pause. Everything scrolling smooth. Access to all media right from there (which, I mean, gave it it's name). Hell, even real nice sample items. Ninja tuna is a real good song and the photos are just mesmerizing to look at in a slideshow. Probably the most memorable and greatest of all is the pop up animation when you load a DVD/song. I used to have all these movies on DVD and remember popping them in just to watch the animation.
I miss Windows 7 Media Center, it was my favourite entertainment application. I've got an HP All-in-one Entertainment PC and remember playing Purble Place and watching TV on that.
@@yeswindows8.1 if this doesn't offend you, you could watch live tv using media center, you just had to have an tv antenna and PlayReady, after you set up media center to be able to watch tv.

Then once my elementary teacher retired I actually got to insert a DVD Into it. When April came They had to replace it because windows was ending support. Then I went on the windows 10 computer for the first time. Then what I saw was just flat UI. No personality No media center No nothing. I was pretty sad. I really want to get a Windows 7 computer really really bad. then in the computer lab some manager forgot to replace one computer that had Windows 7. So I would be the first one to usually go on that computer. But then seven or eight days later after that it's gone. Windows 10 has replaced everything. Goodbye Windows 7 I'll forever miss you. 2009-2017.
