is there really no way to create pages and a navigation menu from the control panel as admin? Do you have to use CSS and HTML coding skills just to create a page? Makes we want to build a web shop in WordPress instead with WooCommerce. Put this on the list of programming for version 4.0 which is already overdue . . .
We have not used the Page builder but we used for WordPress and some really affect the site speed but they load lots of unnecessary JavaScript and CSS. But nowadays everyone is improving.
Do you know how to make this page appear in the site map? I have created a new page and it works great, it's just that it doesn't show up with the other information pages (I have placed the twig file in the information directory). Many thanks
Hi, Opencart added those links like manually in the sitemap.twig and sitemap.php. If you want to edit the core file then here are the process: Open /catalog/controller/information/sitemap.php and find following lines of code: $data['contact'] = $this->url->link('information/contact'); And then paste your code $data['text_YOURLINK'] = "YOUR WORD HERE"; $data['YOURLINK'] = $this->url->link('yourlinkcontroller/yourlinkpage'); Make changes on above as per your page and Controller URL. If you can put the text in language file :) Now Open catalog/view/theme/****/template/information/contact.twig and find following lines of code: {{ text_contact }} And then add following code {{ text_YOURLINK }} Hope it helps
