Synch has become one of the most important x characters and as a fan from his first appearance this is special
Synch is like Spiderman, they keep letting him have a small piece of happiness and then take it away tragically. I hope synch totally annihilate nimrod

The X-Men would normally have ended Nimrod with a plan. They do have reality warpers.
Nope, one is currently STRANDED in another dimension (Proteus) while the other (Legion) was DEPOWERED by Xavier prior to Fall of X and went to another plane of existence to hide away from it all!
Nimrod cannot be defeated by a reality warper! If he does, then there is no story, no stakes and no drama

@@kclaude how do you know Hope will even fight Nimrod? You do know that she is currently STUCK in another dimension and hasn't got out yet?
How will Hope fight when there isn't exactly many useful mutant powers for her to tap into?
Darwin and Legion are the two mutants who's powers Sync will merge together within his body and GOD HELP Nimrod when that happens
Synch would be unstoppable if he had the powers of those 2
No matter what, wouldn't nimrod just comeback with a way to counter it?

@@nicholastam7727 With the combination of Darwin AND Legion Sync would be capable of evolving Legion's powers to beyond GOD TIER levels. Nimrod wouldn't be able to adapt fast enough to defeat Legion, Darwin AND someone of capable of not just duplicating their powers but using an enhanced version of Legion's powers. Because Darwin's powers would be evolving Legion's powers ALL OF THEM from TK to reality warping
Synch has been a favorite of mine since Generation X. Im glad he’s really been focused on since then.

He didn't get destroyed he got covered in sap by krakoa. While he was stuck he could have a) got help from omega sentinel or b) had duplicate of himself which he can do

I was able to read this issue last night from my LCS. I am curious how Kitty was able to retrieve her katanas from Nimrod. They aren't exactly disposable since they were gifts from her senses. I am amused that Spidey has become a temporary X-Men member. Peter really is a mutant at heart, especially since humans treat him the same way they do mutants in the Marvel earth - fear and distrust.
At one point, Peter was a temporary (substitute) teacher at mansion in the "Amazing X-men" book after Logan's temporary "death".

Yes I've been waiting for them to unleash synch. He's finally showing his omega level powers. Dude went from Shadow cat's powers, too storm's and then magic's 🪄. I don't care that it's not official we all know synch is an omega.
He's NOT an Omega and is NOT classified as such, since he cannot hold on to other powers for long

I really wish Marvel would have chosen a different artist for this and the last issue. I still enjoyed the story but think the visuals are limited.

A little confusing...so which nimrod did Krakoa trap?
Also the loss of talon is harsh but I suspect she'll be recoverable and still the younger version did acknowledge sync's admiration albeit not leaning in. Anyway,keep up the good work

To be fair, Synch's relationship with Vault Laura isn't that popular compared to Bruce X Selina and Peter x MJ. It's a forced relationship
I feel like Nimrod was excessively nerfed. If Storm were to take on Nimrod she could only hold her own against him by using ice weather manipulation similar to Iceman’s attack at the Hellfire Gala. I really don’t see lightning harming Nimrod. Spider-Man could hold his own against the Avengers fighting him as a full team yet Spider-Man was lucky in this issue.
Awesome issue synch has become one of the standouts of the krakoa era all we want is synch to be happy now synch will have his revenge
I'm not so sure IF he will. If he keeps pushing his powers to their limits too much, he will only age up faster and make himself an old man, and eventually DIE of old age before he can do anything useful!
It was a good issue. I personally was one of the very few that wanted Talon to come back, but it is what it is. Are all the Cerebro backups destroyed?

Happy the writers decided to have the hero's actually solve the issues instead of some lets time skip our way our out this bs. I also hope Cyclops does stand trial and proves his innocence.

Ya, in the game Marvel Contest of Champions, this is why we call him Nimgod! Nimrod absolutely destroys the mutant class.😆 If you’re going to face him with a mutant it has to be someone like Magik (who’s in the mystic class) or Warlock (who’s in the tech class).

Storm is a powerhouse but Synch using one Storm-bolt hurt Nimrod that much?
It kinda makes Nimrod seem like not that much of a threat.
Legion, Synch or Hope should be able to solo him. I get that Nimrod adapts but if Synch has got Jean, Magneto, Storm, Vulcan, Apocalypse, Exodus etc. in his powerbook, it should be over quickly.
Or maybe I'm missing something about why the lightning was so effective.
He is syncing in memory. Storm's copied powers are not as strong as synching near her presence. He's trying to stun Nimrod and it worked. But he could have buried him alive using Spiderman's powers differently with his aura....

It just seemed weird that it worked in the first place given Nimrod's semi?invincibility and that Synch didn't follow it up with either more lightning (if Nimrod can't adapt) or another Omega's attack.
Might have made more sense if there was more of a sense of panic to the X-Men's retreat.
@@Niall001 It's not invincible. That thing has teleportation, high durability on the same level with Juggernaut, but it's still a machine that can static when stunned by electricity. It can adapt the lighting, but Everett's took him by surprise while he's going easy on the whole team. I can list so many improvements from a standard Sentienl and Stark Sentinel, but Nimrod is holding back in this issue before Synch showed up.
Nope, Legion, Synch or Hope cannot defeat Nimrod for various reason! (1) Legion got depowered by Xavier just prior to Fall of X and has now "ascended" to another plane of existence with his girlfriend Blindfold, (2) Hope is currently stuck in the White Hot Room and wouldn't be able to fight Nimrod if there are no powers that she can use offensively! 😅
When synce uses others powers he can use it with such mastery that he can use it at its most powerful, case in point chamber dudnt know he could fly with his power until Sync used them

Old time Marvel fans expect Talon will be back. Do they really go away forever? Besides we already have seen the Dead X-men, resurrected from the Gala attack, so if Xavier, Cypher can bring back them, then Talon isn't gone forever. I believe Trinary is still alive and mentioned in the issue, which given that she can control even a Sentinel, what defense would Moira, Omega Sentinel and Nimrod have against her might be interesting if synch manifested her power in himself against combat with any of the three.
No, Trinary cannot hack those three as they still have HUMAN SOULS inside their computer brains and bodies, so that one cannot be used. There is a limit to her technopathy powers😅 And even she would struggle against, say, supercomputers and powerful firewalls that Orchis would have!
Nope, Talon will not be ressurected as there is NO physical body for her to back to. The Dead X-men are different as they have physical bodies after being killed

I gotta admit I don't like the Synch and Talon relationship. It feels insincere. I wish they'd reconnected him with Monet. That feels like a real power coupling
i feel like the comics are setting synch up to be a black professor x, they keep drawing him like an old Denzel washington. I really hope they don't age him up. Its cool for the Rise Of Powers future storyline, but we don't need to make him a magical old black mentor. Just let him continue to be a young black mutant hero/leader. He is basically the Cyclops of Generation X and can be a great lead for his own team book.

I am worry that every time he use his muscle memory to synch a powers he gets older

Syncing in memory isn't safe for Everett and the powers he copied on memory aren't as strong as it's original or stronger than that. Wish he synched with spider-man using his aura to bury Nimrod alive(Using it differently from Peter and much stronger). He only stunned him with Storm's powers.
He will die of old age the more he keeps using his powers past his limit

I don't think she's going to be dragged around like a dog on a chain forever but I have no idea where it's going because the series was canceled.
X-men Forever(2024) will cover that.
She was last seen stabbed by Mother righteous and is shown on the cover of X-men Forever bleeding out and looking quite dead! 😅

By doing that, he must sync with his aura and not by memory. His aura makes the powers he copy way more powerful at a higher level.
If he does, then he will DIE of old age from overusing his powers

Good issue but this artist is just not it. It feels so flat and lifeless.
yeah at first i thought maybe they were trying to get us to focus on the characters but it just came off as a story board with colors. Especially the part where synch used a lightning bolt and it looked so weak.

He had to change plans as Rasputin was supposed to get Cyclops out, but was called off by Xavier at the very last minute, so the rescue failed
