Sad thing is, from what I've heard- Benjamin Pascal(the original French VA for Nox) speaks fluent English, so in theory he could've played Nox again in the English Dub.
@@TeamTrainWreck Geneviève Doang (the original voice of Evangelyne) is also fluent in English but I don't think it's necessary for them to dub themselves in English when you have talented voice actors who can take their place.

The big problem with the dubbing of the last two seasons is that it was done by people without much experience in something like wakfu, ideally they would have used VA's in LA who have roles in common with the French voice actors in anime.
See, now this is proper voice acting! The English dubbing for this show sounds so terrible and flat, not just for Nox, but for everyone, like random people being forced to read off lines from a script for a school assignment. Very good work.
Too refined, pretty close but your voice isn't cracking enough. At least in my opinion. I mean, this is a role I'd only trust to Mark Hamill in an official dub, and considering how close you got to a VA legend like him its something to seriously be impressed with. I guess I'd prefer to hear you cutting loose like in the final battle.
Honestly, I feel you. I'm still not very confident in my portrayal of Nox because you've got to be completely unhinged while voicing him. When I recorded these lines it was on a mic that was very persnickety with clipping and noise level was something that I was concerned about. I've put a lot of thought into it and I don't think Hamill would be the perfect match for Nox. Someone like Charlie Adler, who can go from zero to one-hundred in a matter of seconds is probably a better fit for Nox.
actualy, I think you should use any defects from the mic to your advantage, considering Nox is a withering clockwork corpse, things like echo and static can complement his voice.
Is it weird that it sounds oddly similar to the voice actor to the one in the third season. The higher pitched voice compared to the first season actor

Your delivery was actually really cool. It holds the playful air that the French dub had that the English simply didn’t.
