Fe7 was the first game I ever played, and at the time I had no idea it was the 7'th game in the series, in fact I thought it was the only one of its kind. After playing it 5-6 times I had unlocked everything that could be unlocked, but I was always puzzled by this ending, until I discovered FE6!

For me I was confused as I didn't know FE7 was a prequel. I'd always thought that FE8 was going to be the one with Roy. I was so excited because he was who I always mained in Melee. Then we got 8 which was a completely different story on a completely different continent. Suffice to say I'm happier with the 8 we got because Lyon is far more of a best boi than even Roy.
THIS is why FE6 should've been localized....hopefully it will get the Mother treatment and get a release on the Wii U.

I was only saying that FE6 should've been localized and since it hasn't it should get a Mother treatment and be on the Wii U, I have no information confirming it, it's just my opinion.
+James Turner (JustYourModernGamer) The difference between FE6 and Mother is that they already had an English version of Mother 20 years old that never got released. It was a simple matter of digging it up and emulating it on the VC. For FE6 to be officially released overseas, they'd have to translate it from scratch, something that would inevitably up the VC price, which they might not believe to be a good idea monetary-wise.

Seeing this ending, I wished FE6 would feature Eliwood and Hector as characters that start a jounrey together to stop the king. Of all Lord duos, I always liked the dynamic between them the most which is why it's sad how it ends.
It would have been nice to see if Eliwood got cured by the illness or not
Even Hector's passing got me. Even Zephiel's dark turn. We saved him, now he's turning evil? That's bullshit. They should have mentioned Lyn in the sequel tho, I know he's one of the many potential wives but come on, they didn't even mentioned her, like she was erased from existence or whatevs.
Actually binding blade came out before blazing sword so Lyn likely didn't exist until after fe 7 came out

I learned about Marth and Roy from Melee (of course) and when I got this game I was like, "Wait, where's Marth and Roy??? This guy looks like Roy, but it's not him....". So when I saw this ending and the moment Eliwood calls Roy I was like, "HOLY SHIT!!! :D".
Also, I feel really bad for Zephiel. He was such a sweet boy and his father wanted him dead. I learned that sometimes when people turn bad, it's sometimes because of other people. Not that it's excusing the terrible things they do, but it's a bit tragic in a way...
That's right. Because when you know the extra layers or details of that person, you wish that you could see them as the person they should have been, ya know?
Yes she totally is. Not only does the game put great emphasis on Eliwood and Ninian's relationship, but once Eliwood and Ninian have an A support together you get a special ending stating that they had a child named Roy together.

This ending isn't "special", it's default one, if you don't get your main lord tag an "A" support with one of their love interests.

Regardless of the fact that Sue is Rath's daughter, I honestly don't think she's Lyn's daughter. Who says Sue's mother has to be Lyn anyways? Rath could have easily wound up with some random Sacaean.
my first play through i had Eliwood reach A support with Ninian
so i always tend to think Ninian is Roy's mother, which would make him half dragon, which is bad ass.
also, i dont know if this is true or not, but some speculate Ninian is also Sophia's mother, and i love Sophia, so Roy supported with Lilina and Sophia makes a pretty neat trio

@PrincessChi The identities of Roy's and Lilina's mothers are still up in the air. Roy's mother is either Ninian, Fiora, Lyn, or generic. Lilina's mother is either Lyn, Farina, Florina, or generic. But the likeliest chances are that, Lyn is Lilina's mother, and Ninian is Roy's mother. Unless if I.S. says otherwise that is. (Which wouldn't amuse me in the slightest.)

if you play the game in the "only english" version you can see it.
But, in the Europe version (5 idioms) they run out of space, that's why they remove this because it has 4 heavy pictures.

I just realised. If Ninian and Eliwood is canon, wouldn't that make Roy half dragon? Actually it can't be canon. He'd still be a kid, or dead. Would it even be possible to have a kid? Also, why is there only female manaketes in Awakening when male manaketes appear in Sacred Stones (Before final boss, in the wooded place). It is definitely in the same universe as Robin recognises historic figures. Coincidence? Maybe. Am I over-thinking this? Maybe.

cheea5 But what about other characters, actually. How come full Manaketes can live in the human world, yet half Manaketes cannot. Tiki for example, or... Manakete girl from 6. Also, if you notice, Morgan can become quarter Manakete, yet the effects are the same. Morgan can use a dragon form, yet Roy cannot. If it was canon, then Roy could just so simply use a dragon stone, yet the compatibility with a dragon stone is not there, nor is the slow aging side effects. More proof that it is not canon.
Keep in mind that transforming requires a gem and Roy probably wouldn't think to try it. Plus we don't know if Manaketes and Dragons are the same species. We know that it is extremely tiring for Ninian to transform into a dragon, which also could contribute to 1/4 not being enough in tune with whatever it takes to transform into a dragon. Though honestly, my sister know the lore much better than I do so I'll probably ask her and get back to you if this doesn't explain it for you.
@kirbyfreek33 As mentioned earlier, this ending happens regardless of what you do. It doesn't happen in the European version, and you need to either have FE6 or beat the game a certain number of times in the Japanese version. In the American version, it happens every time you beat the game.
I think the game makers INTENDED for it to be Ninian, because if you read the support conversations a lot of the other ones tend to lean towards friendship. But in Ninian's, he actually voices his affection for her, tells her he loves her. You know.
I got this Epilougue after I beat FE7, and it made me want to play FE6.
Hm am I the only one who thinks they should just remake both FE6 and 7 and put them in the same game? Maybe add a lyn story too lol, and maybe they could do something like an awakening/ Geneology thing where the kids acquire the stats of the parents.

I really like the idea of Lyn and Hector because the chemistry between the two really makes for a great relationship. Then again, even though it's random asf, the special ending with Florina really makes me think differently. Although Lyn has conversations with Hector outside of just supports, they aren’t as blatantly stated to have feelings for each other unlike with Florina, even having a reason to fall in love with Hector.
Lyn and Rath is not my favorite pairing but I must admit that they do make for an interesting pair, despite Rath sounding like he would rather not even talk to her sometimes haha.
Aaaaaand I have nothing to say about Eliwood & Ninian because of how obvious it is lol.
Also, you may notice that this comment is mostly opinionated so don’t come bashing me about how these aren’t canon... because in truth, none of them are. We can all argue about it, but until we get some more source material (which will most likely never happen) all of our pairings are based upon how we see the interactions in the game.

Yeah, I thought so too! I've passed the game nine times (working on ten to obtain Roy) and I've ALWAYS had the same ending!

@TheRCM15 I've mentioned earlier that this part of the ending will never change regardless of which pairs you do for the lords. Heck, you could leave Eliwood and Hector unpaired, and you'd still get this part of the ending.
@Demonhornz The North American and Japanese versions of the game will always have this ending occur after the credits roll, but it was omitted in the European version.
no, only the Fire Emblems after this one were released in the US (including this one as well, which is FE7)...like Sacred Stones (FE8), Path of Radiance (FE9), and Radiant Dawn (FE10). Except they're not numbered, too bad the earlier ones couldn't be released in the US
This isn't secret. I have 3 versions of this game on my computer, and this is in all of them. (Yes, I have the hard copy.) It's not a secret ending.
If you put up the alternate ending for which you must have an "A" support between Ninian and Eliwood, that might be considered secret.
This ending happens at the end all the time if you go into the epilogue.
My opinion to Canon endings:
Eliwood X Ninian
Hector X Florina
Lyn X Tactician Mark (or alone if you play as a female Tactician)

+Yuubi Timberwolf: Hector and Florina has almost no interaction outside of supports, gets no song dedicated to the pair, and its paired ending comes out of nowhere. Hector and Lyn, on the other hand, interact with each other outside of supports as much as Eliwood and Ninian do, gets a special song dedicated to them, and the paired ending is but a logical conclusion to the interaction they have together. It's pretty clear which would be more canon, and it's not Hector/Florina.

@9Ventus6 I.S. has no official pair stated for Eliwood and Hector. With that said, the likeliest possibilities going by a story standpoint is the possibility of Ninian being Roy's mother, and Lyndis being Lilina's mother.
Isn't it a bit absurd that in 15 years Hector and Eliwood haven't met not even for a meeting with the League or any royale event?
Well the same happens with a A support with Fiora and you are supposed to give their first child name and it becomes Roy
It all depends on which ending you like, if you dont have a A support at all with Eliwood, Roy would not have come to birth
This is not a secret ending, the secret ending is where they show a picture of nergal and his dragon wife in the fields after the zephiel and yahn talking

@BoBoBlackshot, @nintendoraikiri Eliwood's son, Roy (who most people associate with Super Smash Bro. Melee and Marth) is the main character of the previous game; Fire Emblem: Fuuin no Tsurugi, which was never released outside of Japan :(. Hector's daughter, Lilina shows up and assists Roy. And a few characters (and some implied children of) from Fire Emblem is seen in the previous game. They go on to fight and defeat Bern's (?) emperor and find the Sealed Sword to defeat the dragons returning.

The sequel is Fire Emblem 6: Sword of the Seals. In Fire Emblem 6 Roy and Lilina are the main characters. In every Fire Emblem they are in different continents.

Interaction is why no mother's are shown. Hector can marry three people, as can Eliwood, depending on who get an A Support with during the game
most of the Fire emblem games take place on different continents. FE 6 and 7 both take place on Elibe. 7 is indeed the prequel for 6.

there r two secret endings (real secret endings) you get them by either beating two of the kishuna chapters for the fist secret ending to get a extra scene beat all kishuna ending

They don't show the mothers for multiple reasons but their is a rumor that Eliwood got married with Ninian. Reason why, because Roy seems to have Dragon like powers in him, it's just something that i've heard. And Hector may have married the youngest pegisus knight girl, forgot her name.
I never got this ending because I always maxed out Hector's and Eliwood's support

...No, Nergal isn't a dragon. But he is Ninians dad. He and Aenir(an Ice Dragon) sired them before the Scouring.
Heck, the main reason he wanted power was so he could open the door for his children, and perhaps resurrect his wife. He just lost track of it due to the corruption dark magic/quintessence has on your soul.

Lyn is, as was said above, canon with Rath.
@Xjreme18 Lore. Between FF7 and FF6, a lot of things happened, like Zephiel's father trying to kill him twice. The second time, he lost his cool and killed his father and thats when it all went down hill.
So FF6 was caused by a negligent stepfather who didn't love his half-son. God damn marriages...

And not to mention, not every character is likely to be paired up with another. Even when taking gameplay into account. And especially since some pairs make others impossible. (The sad truth about pairs in FE.) Including those involving characters that don't have kids in FE6.

Alright, this wasn't the ending in European version. The title is misleading, but based on the description being in German, it's likely he wanted to show fellow Europeans the "real" ending
i dont know for shure, but i think Lilina's parents r Hector and Lyn, if u get support A with hector and lyn, then at the end (in hectors story) when u get to the part when hector is being named Marquess Ostia, lyn shows up and Hector and lyn mention they will be getting married and they will name the child after u, but evedently that doesnt happen
