I don’t think that special had anything to do with Toriyama either, hence why Toriyama made the One Shot novel Dragon Ball Minus, which is about Bardock, and that Bardock was the exact same Bardock we saw in DBS: Broly.

So glad they redid broly. I fell in love with the idea of broly, but I felt the execution of his character in the dbz movies was done pretty crappily. Dbs broly on the other hand, hes everything I wanted and expected out of dbz broly. But sooo much better. And hes going to be part of the storyline, not just some one shot movie character.
Me, too although mine was mixed. I felt bad for DBZ Broly as an infant, and thought the hating on goku bit was overdone (he already had another Saiyan, Vegeta, hating on him). But being a complete psycho force that couldn't control such unprecedented power was also a lost cause, and so he needed to be destroyed in order to save other worlds and millions of lives. There was no hope for Broly, as his evil also mixed in with his uncontrollable power, making it a truly dangerous combo that would even rattle villains like Frieza and Cell - although I can see them also taking a shot at him afterwards. You could blame Paragus with the way he also raised him, in hate and vengeance. That's part of the cause of his descent into irredeemable darkness. Cheelai had the right idea too about DBS Paragus. I also don't mind the new Broly, a part of me was hoping they would do a new take on the character, after being introduced to female counterpart, Kale (so glad they gave all the female Saiyans different personalities as well. Gine grew on me, Caulifla reminds me of Sonic and Vegeta in her brashness and arrogance, lol).
It's nice to see new Broly However people fell in love with the old skool concept of Broly .. he's rage was just freaking awesome 😎..hope don't kill him off with some new crappy writing..but liking Broly overall

Can I talk about how insanely good this video is? I legitimately can't stress enough just how much work was put into this. @@davidanghelina5196 its been stated that no, thats not true, broly in super at full power would be either on par or too much for jiren, since beerus is about the strongest GOD in the manga and jiren is stated to be stronger only than belmond (his universes GOD) and in the movie it was stated that broly is about as strong or stronger than beerus in his full power.

@@ethant1372 Because in just his SSJ form broly from the movie wrecked 4 ASSJ and Super Namek Piccolo, then in DBS Broly in base form wrecked SSJG and was getting stronger. So imagine either of them at SSJ4 or SSG..
