I think what I liked about the deaths I’ve seen is that they are very thought out. Like they aren’t killed just for “feels” or just because “they aren’t relevant”, but instead because they had to die. And you wished they didn’t have to but knew they had to.
that's what i wish for in canon! IK for sure someone like Kal/Blaze or other important playable would really have a great reasons if they died in the story, and im ready even tho imma sad af for that, anything for their ideals.
but IS is just a cope out simulation for that, im almost certain HG wouldn't dare to kill a playable even too it really "fits" for it too happen. such a shame
IS3 endings in a nutshell
Ending One: True end. We saved Highmore, and Mizuki decided to give us a foresight. Of what could've gone wrong
Ending Two: Ultrakill, but its not on hell.
Ending Three: We lost the waif, we lost one of the best Trap in the game. R.I.P

The whole time after skipping almost every single story parts in Arknights I finally touch some lore and now I know where the flip that bird came from
The World of Terra is Harsh. Also This goes to show how Different Skadi is compare to the other Aegirians since her existence is a Vessel for Ishar'mla that's why she is free from Oripathy unlike the rest. Also Gladiia and Specter's Death is sad relief to me since they died and Petrified but atleast both of them won't end up the same fate as Thorns. A quick death compare to the struggle for control over a Mutated Body just to end up dead or become a mindless Seaborn. IS3 is literally exploring one of the Darkest Timeline in Terra
Well, for IS3 I think everyone just freaken drop dead, which may include doctor too in the end.

Patriot will die by oripathy anyway so he decided to increase the accumulation of the oripathy to replace his damaged tissue which make over half of his body crystallized (and even that can’t stop him from moving and he still able to run). In fact he won the fight but decided not to

Beagle is dead in one of Dusk's painting worlds, but it's heavily implied that something happened to her during whatever the Great March of Bolívar was (whether thsi is related to the on-going bolivarian civil wars or not is mere speculation).
Overall, the A1 Reserve Squad is more or less dissolved by the time of Who is real, as everyone is now a seasoned Operator.
On a side note, it's implied that the one who resulted injured (and probably dead) by accident in Rim Biliton mentioned in Kroos Alter's Archive Files, was Fang. But that's another story.
I forgot to add the description about beagle.
Even though the said event took place within one of Dusk's "painted worlds" that was based on Kroos' recollections and memories, there are several hints given in the Archives of Lava the Purgatory and Kroos the Keen Glint. Whether Beagle remains missing, being dead or being injured in the future remains unknown.
A recent china showcase showed hubiscus as an alt operator. And their archives suggest something happens to a member of reserve op team they're apart of. Basically its between fang and beagle at this point if im correct.
Dunno if I missed it, but from her module story, we know Kal'tsit already died twice in her lifetime

@@justawanderingoldman7699 Nope. It's just that some events take place in the far future and some not as far (although pretty much every event story except MAYBE Grani and the Knight's Treasure takes place after the main storyline).
@@OpalBerries close, but consider this: According to the dialogue of the scene in Who Is Real, she dies on the front between Columbia and Bolivar. Given this fact, and that she’s said to have fallen during her “final training,” could the culprit perhaps be her erstwhile mentor, the woman who said she meant one day to return to the military of Bolivar once her duties at Rhodes Island were through?
Perhaps Beagle’s killer isn’t Fang at all but her teacher, Instructor Dobermann, against whom she can’t bring herself to fight and is thus killed.
I've been thinking this for a little while, but Thorns death in this scenario is actually just a bit more tragic than the text tells us. Assuming that his seaborne medicine wasn't planned beyond being a last-ditch effort, and he didn't tell anyone, then he might have been one of the first Operators to have been KIA. Assuming his squad managed to evacuate mostly everyone and then they got out (might not have), then whoever was with him and managed to make it back to the landship/last city would have to tell Doc, Ely, Weedy and Whisperain that as far as anyone knows, Thorns was KIA on that operation. Definitely don't want to be the guy who has to tell Elysium why his best friend died.

Isn't also implied the reason his supply ran out because his supply squad is dead? Isn't Ely part of his supply squad? Which make things more tragic that Thorns know Ely died first

I mean, it is canon. Canon is a story written by the official writers. Non-canon would be things like fanfics.
It's just one of the many possible futures of the Seaborn crisis.

@@ahmadyulinu there's a difference between canon and official. Is stories is official story but non canon. Some doujinshi follow the canon story but never become an official one because of writer decision or lack of support.

I like how you mentioned Ace, Scout and 2 people from Rosmontis's squad but forgot like 37 other operators that died during Doctor's rescue operation, all mentioned by Kal'tsit in that log u showed for Rosmontis's ops.

Technically Faust used his Art (implied to be Camouflage-type Art) to open escape path for his allies (the invisible crossbow man dude), but at the cost of rupturing his organs, which caused his death.
I don't think Thorns can be considered "dead" unless ego death also counts as death.
Just give him 2 seconds of no attacking then he’ll get back to normal

In a sense, the death of beagle is loose because the setting being a dream from Dusk’s doing could be more from interpretation rather than completely true considering what Mr. Nothing’s dream was like as well
Dr. Miarow from the R6 collab event was the one that brought actual tears for me, even big guy Tachanka loses it when Miarow died in his arms, begging him not to die as his lifelong dreams aren't fulfilled yet
Meanwhile in Skalter operator report: everyone died except her and Doctor

The ending of IS2 actually explains this... sort of.
You see, in the second ending of IS2, it ends with a description of The Last City being a safe haven for humanity, a refuge for whoever manages to escape the clutches of the Seaborn. This is possible during that time thanks to the Emperor's Blades last stand (in the form of a barrier of demonic energy, but it eventually breaks).
However, it does also tell us about Skalter, and how she will kill everyone BUT the doctor. It is only a matter of time before even the Last City falls.
Wouldn't Beagle's death, assuming she did die, be a canon death considering Who is Real is a canon event that just takes place sometime in the future?
We can't say it's canon for sure since it was a dream Kroos was shown by Dusk. Mr. Nothing also saw a dream where he eventually died so it's possible they were just hypothetical futures if anything more than just a dream.
Also in that dream we don't really know for sure, but Beagle is MIA, since the future that we see is only didn't reveal everything, we might see her again in different encounter (she might join other faction or last her memory... or anything that you can imagine)
Beagle is either MIA, a prisoner of war, or seriously injured, and possibly dead
The character likely believes that Beagle is KIA or that she will soon be dead
If Gladiia hadn't interrupted Sakdi, if Ulpian hadn't stopped Gladiia from returning to Aegir........Terra is a tightrope-walker. One wrong step will destroy her.
I refuse to accept FrostNova's death. I refuse so hard she will become an op one day.
She wanted to join R.I before her death but her duty prevent her from committing to it, Doctor welcomed her into R.I on her last moment before she died in Doctor's arm.

Forget Oripathy, this sounds more serious.
There's lots of other NPCs who's also died in lore. Tallulahs best friend Alina got hit by Ursus soldiers and Skalters friend Alisa got turned into a seaborn in IS3

IS3 proves that the seaborn are a real threat and the deaths are meant to show that a single mistake by the doctor can kill everyone

The seaborn and Ishar’mla (skalter) from undersides won only the doctor is alive according to skalter’s dialog
There are even more who are gonna die. The IS3 monthly squad is a hit list of operators that die during the bad ending of IS3.

Mizuki also died in the third ending sacrificing himself to became one with the sea and lead Seaborns away from land
Technically everyone die on 2nd ending cause Ishar-mla reduce all of humanity until one individual left (the doc)
They're not dead, they just retreated and redeployed after sometimes.
Forgot about Outcast, one of RI elites. Died to give Saileach and the RI local group a chance to escape.

honestly if we count all NPC this video will take longer cause there's pretty handful of npc died like miarow, that guy from wolumonde, Malkiewicz, the poet from chap 9, the old guy on break the ice, all of phantom mentor on IS#2, and one *spoiler* from lingering echoes

Notes about the canon deaths:
- We shall praise the operators that sacrificed themselves to us;
- Frostnova didn't deserve to die;
- Patriot died in an astonishing way, for me, he was a hero in his own way;
- Everyone hates Mephisto, but I will state two things:
First: War isn't gentle to anyone, including children;
Second: That damn Lullaby music made me stop instantaneously the stage and take a deep breath, I was starting to sweat from my eyes.
About the non-canon, these I like to have my own teories, like the true ending of IS1 being the second one. In IS2 it is a sequence of events and IS3 I shall judge yet.
Skadi died too. Ishtar mla took over her body because Skadi give herself to her seaborn blood
All operator deaths are either not canon or just not confirmed yet

Beagle is not confirmed dead in Who is Real and Who is Real isn't non-canon. It takes place years further ahead than the main story, as do all the dragon sibling events.

Is there any information about Fang? I heard a long time ago that she canonically dead too, but unconfirmed by any records and such except that her necklace has same resemblance as Kroos alter ear accessory.

Isn’t the endings for IS3 non canon anyways? None of it happened. It’s all “what if” that Mizuki speculates with Doctor should everything go down south. The real ending is then just talking around the camp fire…

Nope, from what I've heard the "monthly squads" for IS3 are about the death of each operator in the Corrupting Heart timeline that IS3 takes place in.

I think Beagle's death is the most tragic here, it's too close to reality, a young soul dying in a war she didn't ask for, she didn't belong in the battlefield, just an average girl, why do I say this?

I'm not following IS#3 detail but just seeing who's dead, it's far tragic than IS#2
my only grip is that almost certainly HG wouldn't really kill playable (Beagle are still unknown). and are ppl ready to even face a FRACTION of the deaths in IS3 for canon story line? i know im ready for my favs to die for the story, and it would definitely add the weight of their ideals too. but almost no one will be on the same page with me
