Here's a rough edit mix of partial how-to/tips, extra tests, technique progressions and fail clips from my domino arc project I didn't get around to completely editing down.
I love that you showed the tutorials and other tips! I've had some arcs lying around for a long time and I might use them finally! I will also try to expand on the tricks on 6:42 and 6:47 since i feel those have potential
The split ends setup was a process of changing things until they worked better, it was the first setup I made for this so learned from it. I think the basic 3 domino rocker things are pretty reliable when setup so they can't flip over, and taped so the trigger domino doesn't get in the way. There was basically 2 successful falls of that setup, except one had a stopped section from the floor being sticky (new paint was tacky still)
Even with those fails the tricks looked so cool!!
