Can taking a medicine for hypothyroidism for long time cause a hyperthyroidism? How often one should test t3, t4, tsh? Or TSH testing is enough to determine the dose of medicine. This disease is common in high elevated locations. I wonder if you can take a time from your busy schedule to cover a topic on neuropathic disorder to control abnormal low/high blood pressure? Waalekum Assalam and thank you for the thoughtful comments and the question. Treating HYPOthyroidism with thyroxine(the thyroid hormone) can cause HYPERthyridism if dose is high. A simple test to monitor is the TSH. In some cases T4 or T3 may be necessary but TSH is the gold standard. Neuropathic pain and autonomic nervous system dysfunction, which is what you are referring to, is a complex subject and I will try to cover them in future videos.
You mean if TSH level of a person is in normal range then he/she doesn't have to adjust the dose or do other T3 or T4 to adjust the dose of the medication?
