Great checks buddy! That was a beautiful raccoon! I'm surprised the boxes aren't catching more! At least your getting the possums out of there!! That didn't take long to get that last coyote lol! Thank you for sharing my friend!
I love those step sets on the trails! I wish I could have found a spot to try one! Those are nice looking dogs and beautiful cats your catching there!! Nice possum collection your starting too!!! Great video, doing a fine job!!! Merry Christmas
A lot of people in the south call hedgeapple trees Bodocks. A few guys recognized them by the official name, osage orange. They are one of the best woods for making self bows.
Osage orange, hedge, bois d’arc are all same. The wood is very high on the strength scale. That’s why they were commonly chosen for fence posts. Tough, rot resistant and insect resistant. Native American tribes also use it for bow making “snake bows”
Always enjoy the videos! Always wanted to get into trapping. Unfortunately regs are far more strict here in Arizona. Plus my hobby (Falconry) means no time for it. So I will just live vicariously through you! Keep the vids coming!
Nice haul for the day! I noticed looked like a creek with water running in the last part of the video when you went back for that last coyote. Was wondering why you didn't throw in some D.P.'s to catch some more of those nest raiders?
Nice run! I crack up when you say you were going to do an outtro and then you don’t….it’s like a Trapper J cliff hanger because there’s always more lol. Then it ends abruptly 😆 Love it
I grew up chucking hedge apples at friends and everything else lol. Actually the official name of those are Osage oranges as my wife has informed me at least 726 times in last 35 years lol
I'm glad you said that,I was just about to comment about the nice Red COYOTE CAUGHT. U should definately save this video for future reference: ! If anybody wants to see a red brush or prairie wolf this is as close as your going to get as in as close to the great red wolf as ur going to get. That is where all these brush & prairie wolves came from, red, black grey silver shepy ,blue & tan. I still like the chocolate with yellow bellies & underfur the best!
I love your video's and I want to ask you something, "If someone owns property that they have a home on, do they need to have a trapping or hunting permit if they have Fox or Coyote that cross the property every once in a while? I'm not trying to say that they may be a nuisance, just want to ask in case they over populate the area."
Nice coyotes. The possum magnets are working. I really like this blind trail setting you are doing this year.
Great day ..........

Hey Trapper J,
I'm looking to get into to trapping this winter, was wondering if I could use Rabbit fur and squirrel fur/meat for bait l.
Great video and a four dog day. Can’t wait to see what u snare where u boxed in with chicken wire. Gotta make a catch there first night…

Great video bud
🍻🍻
Looking great brother, wash that rangers windshield would ya? 🤠😂
Osage orange, at least here in VA . Big balls 😂
Sweet😂😂😂
What do u do with the possums are they worth anything or worth skinning?
Everything has some value it’s kinda like collecting cans they all add up
It would be an interesting experiment to 1 year only use bright safety yellow cables for snares
Are possums even worth skinning out? Or do they go thru the grinder for bait?
Definitely don’t turn into bait lol
I love your video's and I want to ask you something, "If someone owns property that they have a home on, do they need to have a trapping or hunting permit if they have Fox or Coyote that cross the property every once in a while? Probably wouldn’t hurt but I trap on my property in the summer without one
What drill is that and where do I get one Boss? Thanks!
👍🏻😎🇺🇸
Few vidoes back noticed a fresh rabbit in the back and thought you just took one for dinner that day while checking the trap line.
I catch one everyday
What does the sheep's wool do?
Eye appeal
Will a j hook tool open and close s hooks ?
Yes
Shoot I’d lik to buy the first two dog pelts I really liked them!!!
osage orange
I would like to see the after process of the catches
It's going to be hell whenever y'all get snow or a lot of rain
Osage oranges
Why would they not just go through the new hole you cut on fence ?
Lol I didn’t cut a hole in the fence
@@TrapperJOutdoors what did you cut to patch the hole where the snare keeps falling down and you wove the wire in
I would not mind have Rabbits and gravy over rice and fried rabbit
Did you fart or did the barn door squeak.
I can’t remember
@@TrapperJOutdoors Must have been a hell of a blast.
I pooped on that trail for you.
That is why I quit trapping. someone ran my line on the last day of the season and stole all my traps about $3000 worth.
