Probably the best example to date of a outstanding game completely ruined by greed and laziness. Every single issue this game has could be solved with minimal effort and monetary investment, but the creators simply don't.

When i was used to play this game Competitive to 2008 since 2010 was a cool game with alot of good players with alot of potential (Never take adventage of his potential gameplay ruined by shop and 0 competitive Scene just made by player) S4 league was on of the best games of is gene. Now has no point. GL HF ppl who still playng!
I used to play this a lot probably 7 years ago. It saddens me when I read about how bad this game has become.

-9 frantic modes (even if you will only play 3 of them)

- AND MUCH MORE such as LAGG,CRASH, DEVELOPERS WHO DONT CONSIDER THIS DEAD GAME, AND CHEATERS EVERY F**ING MATCH

I started playing the game again after being stuck on a MAC laptop forever, and I am sad that the number of players have dropped, I was never good at this game, but I still had fun playing it. It does have a steep learning curve, and some players can be stuck up, it is not fun when you end up against a more experienced player that can not take it easy on you, and people might kick you out of a room if you are not good enough for them, but I think it can still be fun and different game then other new or older first person shooting games instead of the standard war soldier shooter.
I played this game 10 years ago. God.
I used to play this game religiously, I really hope they update the patcher errors that happened all the time.

Yeah. I got back into it today and decided to play a couple of rounds, its still the same. It's been 9 seasons since I left and they only added 5-6 new weapons along with cosmetic stuff. The game's website is screaming BUY AP! and there was literally a GM with yellow text filling up the entire chat saying ''The game will shut down next month''

The only reason it still manages to keep afloat is because there's no modern replacement for it. There's an empty spot in the game industry for a new gen GunZ-like or S4-like game.

- 80% of the matches are pretty unbalanced
- Completely outdated engine (bad graphics while FPS are lower than Crysis, way too long loading time, crashes while loading...)

I mean, behind S4 League there are some pretty good ideas, but the implementation is really bad.
-Not really pay to win(Events lootbox contests tournaments)
-Unbalance is purely skill based.
-Bad graphics i don't feel like they are bad they are animelike and feel fitting for a game like s4league also gameplay matters more than realism graphics.
-They are fixing the hacker issues step by step they have become less and less.

La falta de: innovación, motor gráfico, seguridad Anti hackers , la ampliación de pay to winn, los problemas de ping alto, la tolerancia del uso de Macro y tools, hicieron que su comunidad disminuyera, los moderadores y dueños no se que les pasó, algún día espero poder comprar este juego y darle vida nuevamente , era un juego adelantado a su época, estoy seguro que muchos jugadores de free fire lo jugarían 😢 que dolor saber que por ahora nada se puede hacer y no es justo.

I mean, it was pretty funn playing it with my friends and we where pretty skilled at the game, like Station 2 CPD no F stuff. I pretty much got banned everywhere for no reason and i pretty much grew out of it. Sadly this game dies and it cant be saved in my opinion. I really loved this game, now i play sometimes on private servers like S4Remants but it isn’t the same and its time to say good bye 👋

Btw, here are some extra notes for the slave, that make this video for s4league
-Bugs since the game exist
-Supporter´s are 24/7 drunk
-GMs/GSs doesnt know the gamerule´s
-After one User joines, the entire room laggs and freezes for 3-5 Secounds and that since 6 mounths!
-You have to pay 100$~ to get one set permanent.
-The Community is stupid and many rooms arent playable
-OP weapons, that doesnt get nerfed.
-Server are broken and slow
-A User called hangsang crashes the server without any effort.
-Supporters are complaining, if you send them a report-video.
-The turkish server is like 90% not playable.
and other 121 reasons to NOT download this crap game.

Actually you cant download it because it has lot files failes and its impossible to play, :c i played 7 years ago and i loved this game, also after when i tried enter again to my account aerial delete it and i cant play again, i was very disappointed, still i come back the last year trying download again and is the same i told at first has lot fail files and cant install in pc.

It was amazing long time ago but now it's just pay to win (I know since I spent thousands on this game and I don't even need to be good to kill people anymore) lag is beyond god mode. If you lag you're more op than hackers (which this game gets tons of). S4 I love you with all my heart, but you better fix yourself if you ever plan to be an enjoyable game again. #MakeS4GreatAgain

This is an excellent game, I have never met with analogues yet. But online is dead than alive, all servers are empty, except for the USA. And on the servers of the USA, we have to tolerate a ping for 300-500, not to mention the fact that the game still produces 40-60 fps on video cards of the level 1060 GTX like on 6600 GTX.

Eig. sollten die das Spiel mal für ne Woche Offline nehmen und dann von Grund auf überarbeiten.

I consider that foreshadowing rather than spending your time on silly trailers like this you should be addressing the issues in the game to maintain the player base you have and maybe convince some former players to return. Trying to bring in new people the way things are now is a fools mission.

Btw, I wonder how much of the hate commenters here actually still play the game. And I know some of their complaints are understandable, for example I mean there is A P2W element to it (IF you can even call it that anymore) but it's less so than ever before really. Plus the in-game shop now has guaranteed perms. And about the gamemodes "no one plays" people do play them, just not that much because the game currently has a small playerbase (exept for Warfare. Warfare sucks). People are saying OP weapons, and yes, but that could count for pretty much ANY weapon as long as you use it right, and they can be countered as long as you know how. It's all about skill an knowledge of the game. What's unbalanced about the game is Esper Chips. Nerf those.
