I was so emotional this week. Tomorrow I turn 32 and I was thinking of the future and where I had hoped to be by this age and I’m not there yet. Definitely can be hard but I do believe everything happens for a reason and I have been very future focused this past year and trying to bring my mindset back to focus on the present and all that I do have right now and am grateful for.
Also 32 and also feeling like this. So happy to know I'm not alone. Focus on what you're grateful for is a big one for me and also taking things a step at a time.
I love the realism in your videos! They definitely help me not get so closed in mind-wise because I know other people have the same thoughts and feelings. Keep doing what you do!
Your analogy about wanting to read the chapters before you read the ending is an interesting one for me. With some books, the anxiety of the middle is enough to make me not finish the book unless I know the main character ends up happy or the main couple ends up together. I guess that says something about me.
On bread … in addition to just reducing (it’s really just sugar in the end!), try buying higher quality artisanal bread or bakery bread, instead of that fluffy white commercial bread with tons of added sugar. It tastes better anyway, and it’s a step in the right direction both for your gut and for the environment, as well as for small businesses! Win win win. Also … 25 is so young. You have so much time. I remember how hard a time I had at 25 (just graduating law school and looking ahead to the bar exam and starting work in a law firm), so totally respect the feelings and process. But don’t put so much pressure on yourself. You have so much time to figure out where you want to go. And if you had “answers” now, they’d change anyway. Just enjoy being young and only having to worry about yourself. You will miss that freedom later when you have a partner and a family, so make the most of it and do all the things you want whenever you want now! 😊
Your videos are always inspiring and able to make me take a break and see life from a different perspective. Had a similar experience like you this week, questioning life and all those answers I would like to know but your analogy really has given me something to hold on to and be more patient while enjoying everyday life. Thank you so much!
I just turned 30 and have been feeling that intense fear of getting old. Thanks for sharing your wisdom, it was just what I needed to hear to calm my mind 💕 as always had to grab a cuppa and pause my day to watch this 😁🫖☕️
As a 37 year old I just want to say that my 30’s have been the best decade of my life ( minus the pandemic drama that everyone had to go through) hope that helps
I turn 25 tomorrow and soon to be graduated (also from UofT!) and your take on aging is so refreshing!! I’m not one to be upset because of birthdays and aging, but I am upset because I have COVID this year on my birthday! But I’m looking forward to many more birthdays 😊
I deeply understand your questions and fears about the future. Two years ago it was my 25th birthday and I totally freaked out hahaha. Im 26 now and actually Im not done with college yet, but Im so grateful and happy with the life Im having and with the one I had. Im just excited now to see where life takes me. Big hug for you ❤
We all have a desire to know what the future holds. In my mid-twenties my “plan” was derailed, and it took me a while to accept that life can go in a direction you desire but its pace and method will not be in your control. I’m glad you seem to already know that! Enjoy the journey. 🙂
I love your cozy vids and the recipes you make always encourage me to eat more vegetables and do more vegan meals. I can relate totally with the hormonal mood. 😆☺️
You are one of my favourite bloggers in toronto. I live in toronto too and I’m very sad to see during the pandemics lots of stores closed and turned to cannabis
oh im almost 35 and the question marks never go away. i think we just figure out how to appreciate the unknown as we get older. also regarding bread - i have type 1 diabetes and when i was first diagnosed, my doctor said to never eat anything white. i've only had wheat bread since (12ish years!) until yesterday when i had a sandwich with white bread ... it felt more like a dessert than lunch and it was insanely delectable (and comforting??) lol but it all depends on what your goals are i guess!
I've been feeling so weird for the past year and a bit, I had a lot of mortality scares tbh. But I do feel weird because I graduated just before the pandemic (graduated Dec of 2019) and I'm 26 turning 27 this year and I just feel so ... weird. I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels this way. Also does anyone feel 2 years younger? Like because life has been so stagnant for two years, does anyone not feel like they're their age? But feel like the age they were before the pandemic hit?
Thanks for the recommendation on those books, I have ordered my copies. Looking forward to reading ... Thanks for letting us into your life... take care.
This is going to be such a weird request for you but I would like to see how the sugar wax goes with your arm hair because I am also a gal who has dark hair and I also have very pale skin so the dark arm hair is something I've always struggled with. Since having PCOS it's gotten worse and I'm just looking for ways that if I wanted to in the future, potentially look at options.
I relate so much!! easy does it and giving my body extra loving was keeeey! I also know Seinfeld like the back of my hand and I have the same relationship with New Girl! 🙈 will re-re-watch! LOL here’s to a new day ❤️
I was literally crying last night because my future is not clear so you’re not alone! ❤️

Do you just pitch the rosemary, lemon, & cinnamon when your done or do you have another way to use them? Just curious.
hahahaha I felt soooo represented with the bread issue. So funny and spontaneous. Kisses from Spain ^^

So much anxiety and then excitement when adding the eggs to the toast. 🤭

I am sorry you were crying honey. You have a huge lead on a lot of other people your age. It gets better as you age.

Why do some woman have to have cramps and others just feel a little pull in the abdomen - if even that.?
Quarter - life crisis is a thing for sure.
