    I love evil morty because he became Rick to escape Rick. A broken mirror of his abuser. That’s why he is evil. He becomes what he hates. Because he doesn’t want to be dependent on Rick. He takes the same nihilistic philosophy. The rickest morty.
    Morty 137 chooses otherwise. He accepts his rick because he doesn’t want to become Rick to escape Rick. He wants to be Morty . He likes his relationship and actually works toward improving it. He also sets. Boundaries. The Mortiest morty.

      Being fair to Rick here. Evil morty did have the advantage of using ricks already designed technology/plan to figure it out. He didn’t start from scratch like Rick did. Still pretty impressive. Your completely dismissing all the work Rick had done before evil morty even showed up. Also it was impossible before since prime Rick could be anywhere in any random universe but they finally had a small window of opportunity since everyone was teleported back to their original universe . Let’s not forget they both would of died in trap if they hadn’t convinced their portal guns together.

    This new season is actually really good, people seem to be conflating their anger about justin roiland with the quality of the newest season, but to be honest, the team didn't even like justin roiland that much, and you can just tell that this season is smoother. But that doesn't say much when compared to the FIRST episode of this season, and a LOT of episodes from earlier seasons.
      Overall, the season i would say is, for now, a 6/10, the rick prime/evil morty episode propells it VARY high, so unless we another MASSIVE stinker like first episode, it might stay at 6 or go even higher.
      Episode 6 was really good, funny, and the overall story of it/the continuation of rick being depressed after episode 5 is really nice, and if we keep getting more episodes like it or at least of it's quality, the rating might go higher easily.
      Overall, the hate for this season, while KINDA understandable to a DEGREE, it's kinda overrated too. It's not a bad season at ALL, KINDA meh, but has a few solid ones.

      That doesn't really make much sense either. If the multiverse is infinite, which in R&M they state multiple times that it is, that means every possible scenario has happened infinite times. So how is there only 2 ricks that have developed it? Even the whole 'central finite curve' thing. 1% of infinity is still infinity. That which is supported by the fact that rick talks about infinite grandsons or infinite ricks.
      You see them do stuff like this several times through the show where 'something' either only happens once or twice or rick states it can only be done a couple times despite infinite options.

    This really put it into perspective why I respect evil Morty, who was willing to commit mass murderer to get what he wanted, but not Eren Jegar who did practically the same thing.
    Because while they both would do anything to carve their path to freedom Evil Morty was honest and pragmatic with his decision, while Eren chose to murder purely out of egoism like Rick.
    Eren could have focus solely on Marley to make his point, and win, his nations freedom, and buy the time necessary for building up his countries defenses, but instead he chose to destroy everything because it was easier and required less effort and fed that childish notion of vengeance that had always driven him.
    Evil Morty had to play by the rules of Ricks machinations and technology if he wanted to escape his grasp. He didn’t murder all those ricks and mortys out of self satisfaction, but because the way the curve was created demanded that action in order for them to escape (probably so prime couldn’t leave the curve without making himself obvious and give get Rick a chance for revenge).
    I can respect the character who can do what is necessary to achieve their goal, but not one that destroys solely for the sake of feeding their inner child with the corpses of billions.

      @@theredpillneo2296 Like I said that could’ve been accomplished with just the destruction of Marley. Even if he needed to do something like destroy, standing military assets to prevent Eldia from being invaded, it wouldn’t require massacring, 90% of the population destroying most of the planets, biosphere, ensuring an abundance of death and disease that will follow for centuries to come other than trying to inflict his idea of pain upon the whole planet, in some kind of tantrum. Erin chose to kill other people because it made him feel better not because it was necessary and the lelouch excuse is a joke, because honestly, the most likely answer is that he realized he could never be happy so he destroyed everything and then hypnotized his friends into believing that it was the right thing to do as some kind of false vindication, so he could die pretending he did the right thing, while openly, knowing that it was just a selfish act of hatred on world he refused to understand because it didn’t conform to the version he had in his head as a child.

      @TradenCK 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @@emeraldpichu1 It's definitely a combination of the ideas of which you mentioned, but you are missing the entire point of his character, Eren chose to commit genocide, it is selfish because he's doing it for sake of his friends, it was childish because it is him throwing a temper tantrum for the world wasn't what he dreamed of, it was him taking revenge on the world for what they did to his people, these are all true, but the reason why he was so frustrated and mad was more due to the tragedy of the human condition as a whole, Eren knew there were no solution where everyone can be happy, even if he managed to destroy solely the military assets around the world, it would ultimately cause global fear towards Eldia, and the root of their conflict ( the titan powers) would have still been present, and who knows what will happen after Eren dies? the whole cycle starts over again? Maybe more of his friends die? Maybe after thousands of years the persisting titan war causes more deaths than 80% of the population at the time he commits genocide? Ultimately, we humans still don't and doubtly ever will have the answer to these questions which is what the ending of aot really is trying to convey, not something like egoism which just isn't a thing from Eren like you said

    • @emeraldpichu1
      @emeraldpichu1 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@TradenCK I know what you’re trying to do about expressing Erens tragedy and convection. The problem is that at all of that went out the window the moment he got his hands on the full coordinate and Yimr. Limit on lifespan, gone. Limit on time, gone. Limit on choices, gone. Limit on perspective, gone. You do realize that he had full control over the near, unlimited power of a Cthulhu, right? All the arbitrary restrictions about bloodline and life and control. We’re all illusions created by Yimr and her limited perspective. There was nothing stopping the worm from controlling everything. There was nothing stopping it from being able to manipulate all of humanity. There was no need to have a direct blood connection for that to happen. It was just with Yimr thought it was necessary, so it became so. He literally had humanity in the palm of his hands, and not just in terms of being able to kill everyone, but he chose to kill because it was the only way he could find. You see the problem is Eren was given all the power in the universe, and he still chose violence because it was simple and easy, and if they didn’t want it to be that way, they shouldn’t have given him all the power, and then pretend that the only path he still had was violence. And even then, as I said, before you donate obliterate 90% of the planet to pretend “oh no I’ve gone crazy you need to stop me and become hero’s”.
      And please don’t come back and say that the worm couldn’t do that it’s literally an outer god from beyond reality that can turn people into Giants, arbitrarily manipulate matter, and reality and conjure souls from the after life and so much more yes it could do all that and yes, you don’t need to have been part of the Eldia bloodline they made it clear multiple times anything the worm keeper couldn’t do it was a result of Yimr superseding the worm authority, and she gave it all to Eren.

    • @TradenCK
      @TradenCK 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@emeraldpichu1 But where did you derive all of that from? All we know is the titan powers came from the worm, Ymir then inherited its powers and became the Founder, which much later Eren becomes. As far as its actual powers, we know that the Founder can control all titans, send messages through their minds, change anatomy of their bodies, and alter memories. we dont't know if its capable of manipulating lifespan, control time, or any other thing you said. and the most important thing: these are powers he can use AGAINST ELDIANS, as far as I remember, the Founder doesn't have any power over those that aren't subjects of Ymir, but please correct me if i'm mistakening. The attack titan power, as Eren described, lets the user to see into the future, not control it or change it, so as far as Eren's choices go, he really only has a couple, and none of them are perfect solutions.

    Evil Morty's Rick is clearly more like the average Rick in the multiverse, sees Morty as something of a servant, entirely replicable, and only a means to an end. So Evil Morty even from the beginning was treated different to our Morty.

    I don't agree at all that Evil Morty is only defined by action, he's clearly a different Morty, with a different way of interpreting the world. By and large he's had the same experience many other Morty's had, but the difference here isn't just action, he has the brains and follow through to make a plan work and see it through to it's proper conclusion. You can make the argument that he's even better at this process than Rick, based on what we have seen. Evil Morty does lack the kind of baggage Rick has, presumably because he is still young, and hasn't experienced as much. He's managed to beat his oppressors so far, no matter how arduous the task.... Rick hasn't. He's taken definitive L's. We haven't seen what Evil Morty is capable once the world has taken what he values most from him.

    a question about the multiverse. Is there a multiverse that cannot be accessed. If it's indeed infinite possibilities there should be even a universe where the multiverse doesn't exist, and shouldn't be accessable

    I prefer to call Evil Morty "Fed Up Morty" instead. I'm certain he's coming back again eventually. You can't have such a powerful plot device like a Multiversal kill weapon and not have it reappear again. Hopefully it will be a more Morty driven story line where C-137 and Evil Morty either team up or go against each other, or both.

    It doesn't quite track to say that "no one" understands so-called evil Morty. I prefer to call him "Badass Morty." He's not evil, he's just the Rickest Morty. I hadn't put as much thought into it as you have, didn't have a detailed analysis; however, starting with the cold open of the episode where he met Rick Prime I came away with the same conclusion you did. I think a lot of fans probably started not only to understand Badass Morty but also to wish we could do what he had done.
    I've heard talk before about doing a spinoff centered around Beth or Summer or Both. Rick alluded to the possibility of a spinoff about the intelligent dogs and their new home-world. The spinoff I would want to see is one about Badass Morty. He could find a subset of the universes that were separated from the ones where Rick is the smartest that isn't collapsing in on itself and essentially be the Rick of that subset.

    An interesting little side note along the lines of your tangent about the multiverse issues and the central finite curve. Where the moment 1 person has developed it it's been done infinite time, destroying all reality eventually. That same concept applies to the omega drive but rick and morty never covers it. If it's been developed and USED once then it has been infinite times, which would kill everyone in existence, yet they somehow still exist.

    Evil Morty is just like any Morty. He's a sloppy escapist. Will do anything to be petty and attempts to be above the situation.
    However he didn't " beat" Rick Prime.
    Evil Morty couldn't scan Rick Primes Kuato and never mentioned it to Rick when he woke him up.
    There's an argument that Rick didn't know because episodes later he's introduced to Kuato Morty on Summer. So he punched Evil Rick to his "end" but his Kuato could remove the forehead finger device . If it happens he'll regenerate

    Evil Morty is sounding more and more like Dr. Doom in the lead up to Secret Wars, even down to the whole “destroying one person destroys them in all multiverses” bit, which, like with the council of Ricks, is another thing that’s borrowed from Jonathan Hickman’s Ultimates/Avengers/F4/FF storyline 🤔

    About the central finite curve, you could look at it another way. Maybe it was made by Rick in order to trap Rick Prime in a smaller multiverse within the actual multiverse.
