@@burnbeetlejuice9232 He was great voicing Superman/Clark in Superman: The Animated Series, I really think he would have made a great Superman in live-action. His son Sam voiced Superman in Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox. In fact, Tim was supposed to play Jack Torrance in The Shining miniseries but he recommended Steve Weber (Brian) to take the role instead.
This is a heartbreaking scene between two brothers, you can feel Joe's pain, heartache mixed with his utter disbelief and anger, great acting and great show
Joes face when he realized it was Brian’s fault is just heartbreaking. The look of shock, betrayal, disappointment, and disgust all in one expression. Really difficult scene to watch
SageofSorrow To be honest I’m amazed joe even bothered putting up with him to that point. How much Joe put up with his irresponsibility. I was amazed that didn’t write in the script joe punching him.
But even though Joe was supposed to be the more responsible Hackett brother, Brian didn't react negatively at all towards him - not even when Joe asked for it (which of course got Roy's attention).
At the end of the season, there would be another house fire - that which consumed Brian and Casey's house (which started when Joe mishandled a lit cigar), which wouldn't be resolved until the start of the following season. Ironically, while Joe is supposed to be more responsible than Brian, the latter's reaction to losing his house is far more subdued than how Joe reacted towards Brian in this two-part episode. According to Joe, Brian didn't have the decency to scream at him or act negatively towards him in any fashion, even when Joe asked for it.
You can be forgiven so many times, given so many chancess and still blow every single one of those chances away to the point of why even bother putting up with a brother like that. Lesson here don't give dead beat bums like brian any chances he'll just fuck them up anyway.
I never liked Brian. Pranks were a compulsion to him and he always downplayed his screwups, expecting to be forgiven immediately. Joe finally reached his boiling point here
This really hurt because it’s a freaking house. Joe should have house insurance. Thank God his brother and his brothers wife were not burned in the fire. I don’t like this scene because it shows how cruel people can be.
TV shows have never been the same. There will never be as great as sitcom as Wings.
Tim Daly is really underrated here. His anger and disgust is palpable. The looks he gives Brian are menacing. Well done
He is one hell of an actor...Top notch performance. Emmy level..Great scripts..His sister is also a great actress..Talented siblings .👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

He probably still wasn't over what happened at the wedding
Impressive is also what it is.
Tim Daly does drama as well as he does comedy.. such talent.
He also does theatre too.

This show had it all, comedy and drama. Great series.
Indeed. And very underrated.
Fortunately, Joe & Helen returned ' the favor'... excellent thinking, writing.

I guess it shows stupidity runs in the Hackett family.
This sitcom was Seinfeld quality IF NOT BETTER!!!!
It certainly handled drama better. Seinfeld is incredible, but I like my sitcoms with a healthy balance of comedy and drama, laughter and tears.
Best sitcom EVER♥️
Crystal Bernard will always be my number one crush ❤️
Life can be tragic but we're survivor's. P.s. WINGS ROCKS

You obviously aren't familiar with the show lol
