I actually visited the Retro Museum in the Shopping Mall back in August 2017. I found it was the highlight of my stay in Varna,. The museum is of interest to those who are fascinated with cars and also to those who are interested in the socialist past of Eastern Europe. There are many well-preserved collections and exhibits in the museum reflecting the era of the Peoples Republic of Bulgaria 1944-1989. One of the biggest positive aspects of the museum is that lets the visitor make up their own minds without any over the Top lectures on the evils of communism. As for the Lenin collection, a lot of it is being destroyed in certain countries but there must still be loads of Lenin memorabilia it was produced on a mass scale like the Mao stuff back in the day. Anyway, a great video.

Amazing, as a Varna native and resident, I really like that video. Just a small correction - I think the coke bottle is Bulgarian rather than Soviet because back in the 1960s Bulgaria was licensed to start producing coca cola and that was the first time that this brand was written in Bulgarian (or Cyrillic script), I don't think they ever produced coke in the USSR. Also, somewhat related to that, some of the cars on display are not Soviet but from other former communist countries, such as Romania, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Poland, East Germany for sure, probably Yugoslavia (half of these countries no longer exist in their original form as well, just like the cars :)

It's funny that the taxi cab driver says Justin speaks good Bulgarian, yet Justin's pronunciation is 98% Russian
I guess they must sound similar... I was also surprised 🤪🤣
Not really his accent in nothing like Russian, his pronunciations for a lot of Bulgarian words sound very natural I would speculate he is natural polyglot.

Just a FYI the Air Guns are sold in US. They are high power there is a video of a guy taking down a water buffalo with one. I first saw them at a gun show in Anchorage, Alaska maybe 2 years ago.

Actually in Bulgaria we call taxi drivers "bakshishi(бакшиши) , that word means tips, you said you don't like it when they assume the tip but it is a normal thing here.

Loving your videos and your apparent love for Bulgaria. Its good youre also trying to speak Bulgarian to locals instead of Russian. Youve probably seen there are conspiracy theories about you being Bulgarian. Since your accent even while speaking Russian sounds more Bulgarian. You also look a bit like one.
Only thing you said wrong (id guess on purpose haha) was claiming the coke bottle as soviet. It 100% made in Bulgaria. Bulgaria was the first country behind the iron curtain to produce coca cola and we made a deal to have it written on cyrillic. This was all the way back in the 60s, during the gloomy times of the Cuban Misile crisis. Even back then Coke decided to work with the BG government. Bulgaria had Coke, Pepsi and whatnot everywhere in stores and many western brands weren't as hard to get as they were in the USSR for example. The contract also said Other countries of the eastern block had to pay royalties to Bulgaria. The country was a bit more open to the world, even though it was also one of the USSR best puppets. Doesn't make much sense, but thats how it was.
