- Hey all, so we are back again with another food video. In this one we try The Beach House which is a speciality restaurant onboard the P&O Arvia.
Like all speciality restaurants these are OPTIONAL and you don't have to do them.
So get ready for a full review, an explanation of what process to follow so that you can dine here and a breakdown of the price so that you have a rough idea of what to budget if you are interested in dining here yourseves

Really enjoyed looked good. You sure love to travel as do we. Stoke is so handy for airports etc we live on the South East end of the city so close to countryside which is good

Looks like the same menu as what we had on the Iona in June. It was a lovely meal so will defo book again when we try Arvia in 2025. Great vlog by the way.

I’ve really enjoyed all of your Arvia videos. Thanks. I’m going for first time in November. When I’m able to,pre book restaurants 2 weeks in advance ca I book tables for 7.30 or 8pm. I’m confused if latest prebookable time is 6.30pm. Thanks again. X
Hi with the Beach house you could select different times, we chose 6:30pm

Rum-*soaked* desserts are big in the Caribbean and, as you experienced, can be very unexpected for people who expect flambé. My dad makes an absolutely lethal rum cake that he'll soak in rum for days like you would a Christmas pudding. But I definitely would have thought that "rum-glazed" meant what you expected, not what you got...

Hiya we walk part at 14:44 saw u on the cruise didn’t want to ruin it for u 😂 hope u had a good them just wondered what u thought about how busy it was, we thought it was way too busy and a lot of the people we spoke to said it pit them off going with p and o again what do u think !
Oh we don't mind at all, even if we've got a gob full of food. Certainly doesn't ruin anything for us 😁. And yes funny you mention that as when our Arvia review video comes out we talk about it in that

Love the videos its a great help, as we're going on Arvia next week. I know its probably been mentioned but would you say its better to join the virtual queue rather than queue at the restaurant x

I've just come back from my first cruise, on Iona, and here's something I think was happening: Some of the restaurants allow you to pre-book before the cruise (Epicurean in particular). Others let you pre-book on the onboard app/webpage only on/after the day of embarkation. So you need to get onto the ship, and *then* book the meals you want in what I'll call the "mid-tier" restaurants. I think the same thing happens with the 710 Club.
Iona's "Keel and Cow" definitely seemed like there was only one place in the virtual queue, and you had to go and physically turn up at the restaurant in order to be seated. The P&O app is an absolute nightmare and I can only hope that they're in the middle of replacing it.
Looks great, will book in advance for Arvia next month. Did you do Epicurean and Green and Co?
Hi no we didn't do those but met some people on the ship who ate at Green and Co multiple times and they said it was very good

We just shop around but a company called cruise nation always seem to be the best deal for us

Hi yes just request a private table if you book through the app, if you directly at the restaurant then just request the same. Our ship was very full and we always sat on our own 👍

Bog standard..not Caribbean...banana not the same as plantain..should have told u about the rum not being cooked off..probably the white cheap rum....
