Sorry I missed your comment. I hope you're happy with your reel mower. I use mine in between using my electric mower and when I don't want to disturb my neighbors.

I absolutely love to see women assemble products. It is so empowering! Yes, sometimes it is nice to have your man do it. But sometimes, it feels Great when you can do it! Great video, I figured out everything but the C-rings and Oh yeah, I had not read the information about the rubber bars so you saved me from that challenge. Thank You!!!
Was going to call a handyman to assemble this. He would of laughed in my face at how easy it was. You made it so easy thank you!
A good handyman would not laugh in your face, he would actually do it for little or no money. A bad handyman would just keep quiet and take your money.

Thanks for making this video! I struggled with the e-rings at the end. I can't get them on, but I have arthritis, so a little muscle help will be my final step! 😂
You're welcome. They are slippery buggers. The handles are so tight you might be able to get away with leaving them off, at least until you can snag a strong young man to help put them on. I hope you enjoy your reel mower as much as I do.
@@LateBoomer1964 Yes! I was able to use it without the rings fastened, so I'm just not going to worry about it for now.
@@wickedqueenbean Same thing happened to me so I used skinny pliers to make it easier. Don't have arthritis I'm a young guy and even I still couldn't get it on the thing lol but God bless tools.

Great video. Very helpful. It’s great you show your mistakes so we all learn. For grip install, I just use water, no soap. If it rains they don’t get lose again.
That soap trick saved me an hour, thank you so much!

Hey, for anyone needing help with the e-rings, I did too (arthritis). I found out that if I got a pair of pliers and gripped the e-ring right at the tip I could easily push it on. Worked like a charm! Great video! Glad I am not the only late bloomer!

landlord left this mower behind in a box out in the weather, but the box kept it safe ... but i have none of the screws, etc . but the video is great! also, for putting on grips (also on bicycles), hairspray is also good . helps 'em slide on then dries sticky and keeps 'em in place
If you're in America your local hardware store should be able to help you find screws and nuts to put it together. Just bring the handle bars with you and reference the video if need be. Good luck. I know you'll love it.

Thanks. I came to say if you don't have muscle around the house. I put the ering in place and hit it with a hammer to secure. Easy.

My ering is loose now I understand why it's not working
OH THANK YOU for making this video. I just got my mower and the instructions made no sense to me. I got it to the point of attaching the handles but I can't get the other side on. I don't have the umph needed. I clicked on YOUR video because you are a woman. I'm widowed now for nearly 10 yrs so I'm it. I'll see if a neighbor can assist me .
You are the best of the best I managed to put one together but those little earrings I couldn't figure out how to put it in there because they don't go in there very easily but thank you so much for posting this part at the 9-minute and 48 second part

OMG! i bought this mower from the Salvation Army last Saturday and tried to use it, but something funky was going on with it. It wasn't in a box, but was brand new, so went for it. You just helped me fix it, and I just cut part of the backyard! Thank you so much for this video!!!! I can't use it in the front because my St. Augustine is about 5-inches tall, and I need it to stay that height.

Mine didn't come with e clips and where you place the bar doesn’t have a cut for e clips its just solid. I'll have to call the company. Bummer 🤨
The handle is usually tight enough it won't come off. I would just use it without them.

This helped but my mower won't move forward only backward. Anyone else having that issue?
Hmm. That's weird.
Make sure the guide bar is facing back towards you. Remember the handle swings backwards and forwards. If it's in the wrong position it will only go one way. Also, check the wheels to be sure nothing is stuck in them, and check to be sure that there is nothing sticking in the blades.
