I'm a fairly recent follower (I subscribed because of the first monster chopper vid) but I've been hammering through the back catalogue pretty quickly. The builds themselves are obviously awesome and really fun and informative to watch, but I think the real draw is you guys yourselves. There's no pretence or fake drama, it's just friends having a laugh. Oh, and I'm definitely down for a full Humvee build series.

I think that the well deserved critical and financial success your experiencing is really just a natural result of grinding out videos every week. I've been watching for years and you guys have been hitting hard with your content for a long time now, so it's no surprise to me to see the growth and strength of the channel.
I cannot wait to see what Ethan is gonna conjure up with the Humvee, also you guys have had so much personality coming out in the videos and its so good. Makes it more enjoyable to watch with some goofyness

@grindhardplumbingco My old boss used to race H1's in the Baja 500/1000. Broke his back after they rolled end over end a couple times - didn't realize he was hurt until they were out changing the tires trying to get back on course.
Grind hard has been big for a niche set of viewers, gear heads, offroad guys etc. But your about to blow up even more i feel, especially with the exposure racing the freedom 500. Especially if you win will the helicopter
I have yamaha raptor 700cc with turbo. It is single cylinder engine and makes 120hp with turbo. You should try to use one of those turbos from raptor 700cc turbo kits. It spools really quick and i think that could work good in 450cc dirtbike engine. Engines smaller than that would need turbo specifically made for those exhaust pulses and displacement.
Hate to tell ya but there was a h1 racing in emc this year at hammers. I didnt see a name but i definetly saw it leave the line and then later on broken down in the background
What if for the wise words with will, at the end of the pod cast you switch over to a recorded scene of will sitting beside the wood stove, a grey toupee on, old man pipe (substance of wills choice) and sitting on some sort of rocking chair giving his wise speel 😂
What are Ethan's plans for the hydraulics on the monster chopper? I feel like hydraulics could still be the way despite them not working on the first try.
For an alternative small capacity turbo engine project, what about one of the high revving Japanese 250cc bikes from the early 90s? Cbr250rr, fzr250r, zx2r or gsxr250 depending on which brand is easily available... from importers or Canada.
Those engines would work great with turbo. Exhaust pulses are just like kn bigger 4cyl engines. But there is turbos that would work in single cylinder but they are hard to find.
