I bought a 60º and a 56º wedge on Rock Bottom Golf for $30 each including shipping; both clubs rip the cover off the soft balls I play and the backspin is very good. Super easy to hit, but they do not go as far as I am used to. My guess is the wedges will lose their grooves quickly and I will have to replace them with better wedges. Great Video!
I just recently got a set of those wedges in a 52, 56 and 60. So far I really like them for their price point. These are my first real intro to wedges.
I purchased one just got it today 5/4/2024 and you guys were lucky it came in a box..mine just came plastic rapped..I was impressed there was no damage!!! Changed grip and I love it!!!
That editing towards the end with the footsteps and the beat was perfect. I remember these wedges being sold in a Dunham's Sports growing up, never tried one, but they looked fun.
I was surprised at the end when you said you didn't recommend the wedge, especially after you were hitting it pretty well. I'm always looking for something I can hit about 10-20 feet consistently. Is it because it looks like there is little to no bounce on it?
I started with those pinemeadow wedges and they are awesome. I would never sell them. Although I did notice I came up short on many shots. You have to swing harder. They spin the heck out of the ball. I don't use the 68 often. But you can swing as hard as you want. I give them an A plus.

The short vids are mint the more content you can get out the better subbed to stacked fishing never held a rod in my life lol . The wedge reminded me of someone trying to pull a cloth from under a set table xx

I used to have a 68 or a 65 lob wedge and I really liked it for around the green but a full swing would be a super high 40-50 yard max. If you really hit down on it you can fly it a little further but it would just spin right back. The only other issue is that if you swing too hard and blade it GOODBYE! Once I learned to open up a sand wedge I stopped carrying it.

I was practicing flop shots with mine yesterday after my round of golf. Mine is 58 degrees. Always fun videos! A couple of years ago I bought a PineMeadow(Hybred Putter) advertised as a 37 degree chipper. I never really got used to it but I may try it again.

I used to carry a 65 degree wedge I bought from K-Mart. It was great for getting out of bunkers or going over them. Only good for about a max 40 yards. Took some time and patience learning to hit it, but was fun to see how high I could launch a ball. PH has the best public practice area. IMHO.
Ordering from Pinemeadow you can get some decent clubs for cheap. Also, get many different grips or shafts if custom order. Made in the USA. I have bought all price ranges and top brands but was impressed for price

I have a similar wedge made by wilson. 68° superfly. It has a little bit of bounce and is fun to do the higher cheater flops with. I'll tag you guys on an IG post I did using it. But I actually got it for the low bounce that works good in the hard dirt lies we have here. But you have to deloft it some to do that.
I considered getting one of those 3 packs for $66 on Overstock, but a few people said they shattered...not sure I believe that, but ended up with new mizuno S18 wedges and love them. How do they compare to big name wedges anyway?
@@stevef4010 I've had zero issues with mine. I sure don't see how it would even be possible to "shatter" one. They are a bit heavier in the head than most big brands I've used, but I personally prefer it that way because I can feel where they are better. Performance wise, they do what they are supposed to. No complaints here. Of course you can't go wrong with Mizuno though!
I have the pinemeadow drivers and irons... more than happy. Cheap, they hit straight, and feel fine. I am not a great golfer, but I am sure it is not the clubs.
Honestly, I've played A LOT of Pinemeadow and DiamondTour clubs. Of all of the clubs, DiamondTour are better. You can get their Inazone EZ-PZ or Inazone RGS wedges on sale for around $30-35. They're by far the most forgiving and awesome wedges. I'd compare their forgiveness to Cleveland CBX2 wedges.

Could be a lot of fun just to play around with in the yard. Or it could totally mess up your overall wedge play. While I haven't tried them myself, Pinemeadow actually seems like it might be decent for a budget line. I think they are mostly knock offs. You can customize the clubs to some degree when you order from them. Maybe not so bad compared to a box set of Wilsons or Maxflis.

I got the 56 Pinemeadow and for the price it's honestly hard to argue. I can't afford $100 for a wedge so this was right up my alley.
This is a little late but the ladt wedge means the last one you would use atbthe green. Each one has a distance marked on em to help you to pick.

Pinemeadow wedges are great for people on a tight budget. I love mine! I use the 52, 56, and 64 degree.

I 2nd. Been a fan of DTG for years: customized wedge set for the price of a single Vokey. I'd put most of their line up against any of the big boys.

Knock offs and clones are the way to go when buying clubs. Name brands are rarely worth the premium.
