The Hiri Moale Festival is a three day long cultural spectacle that celebrates and honours the ancient Hiri Trading Voyage and the Hiri Hanenamos who welcomed the Lagatoi and their crew back to their villages.
The three day event comprises of the following events:
- Sponsors Night;
- Vanagi Canoe Racing;
- The Lagatoi Sail Past and;
- Crowning of the Hiri Hanenamo.
