Going to church should never be about worshiping or celebrating humans and their backgrounds. Gathering as believers is about celebrating God through Jesus Christ. Jesus said that eternal life is to know God and Christ whom He sent (John 17:3). Eternal life is not about men and their earthly cultures. The Bible makes it clear that that will pass away.
It’s sad to see this pastor so focused on what kind of entertainment attracts a diverse audience rather than Christ crucified and resurrected but that is the world we live in.
I'm sorry but have u been to his church? I go there and I'm blessed to be around others. I love there worship music because it's not one style. I grew up in a all black church and and all I knew was gospel music and I hated it. I started going to a church that played everything.
