Great video again. John you are a very lucky man as not only does Jess add glamour to the videos, she is great on the tools, doesn't mind getting her hands dirty but most of all she puts up with your bad jokes and antics.
Jon, have you thought about making the pop top back to front, so that the front is the part that goes up. This will give you the extra headroom as you come in the doors, instead of dong the crouch thing till you reach the rear of the van. And if you did it right, you could make a front deck over the cab area, that you could access through the front pop top window. I would also forget about the back shutter, and have a solid lower wall to hang a couple of spare wheels on with a large window above. The pedal is a real game changer
Hi Lee, this was my original idea actually because I wanted to put the kitchen just as you come in but unfortunately it’s going to have to go at the back because it will be a nightmare to build around access to the engine so seating while have to go behind the front seats and the kitchen at the back so the pop top will have to go that way round to give me enough head height I think when cooking. Still not 100% on the plan yet though will just have to see how it all works out 👍
@@truebluetravellers 2nd idea 🙂: What about sealing up the offside rear door (just bolting and caulking it, so it still looks like a door from outside) and building the kitchen along the offside of the van ? That will allow you to still have a crawl through over the engine and you will have a window right behind the stove

Thanks very much 😊
Brilliant teamwork, even if John was left unattended he did really well. The pins is coming on great you guys are making awesome headway. See you next week, for more fun and frolics.
Thanks so much, we are really enjoying it and can’t wait to see how it turns out. We’ve not really got anything to base it on so it’s all imagination at the minute!! 💙
Great work guys. Jess top job on the battery tray and John you deserve any tool you want. Seriously guys your skills never cease to amaze, you are both awesome…. Only 6 days and 22 hours until the next vid. ❤
😂😂 thanks very much Alan 🥰💙
Best bum flash yet Jon ... 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 And it was worth it!!! Jess you know you can't leave Jon alone. One broken rule .... not bad for Jon! Much Aloha!💖🙏🥰🌈🤙
😂😂😂 bloody boy honestly!! 🤦♀️ still can’t believe he got that bloody rivet gun!! I should have twigged something was up when he was being so attentive to answering the door bell!!!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Thats gonna be so cool with the pop top.
Thanks so much, can’t believe how big it is inside compared to the defender
Well done Jon on skirting the generals orders, we could do with longer videos though, more tool time as well 😂😂😂
😂😂😂 no rules broken hey 👌👍👍
Not bad on the old tools there Jess, very very impressed! Can’t really say the same for Jon’s cooking skills… OCD have me removing the shutters and fabing up panels to match the bodywork for a cleaner look, coming along though, awesome build and an awesome couple.
Thanks very much mate, I can get the proper side panels to make it look the same as the front, not cheap mind but just like the look of the shutters to be honest 👍👍
Jon, I see a big swing arm there at the 21 min mark but what bike is that. I’m embarrassed to say I don’t recognize it. Wicked video this week and tons of progress. My wife and I watch them every Saturday evening and we get such a kick out of you two. Congrats on the Riveting Gun! I have wanted one for ages. The other tool I want to get is a proper Riv Nut tool. Jess will be mad at me giving you more ideas! Have a great weekend!
I’m not letting him read this one Grant 😂😂 thanks so much mate that’s lovely of you to say. There’s a few bikes in the shed, we’ve got a Yamaha tracer and a triumph bonneville the red bike is Jons dads scooter it’s a Honda xadv 750
You 2 make my Saturday morning at work far more bearable 😊..can't wait for next week and seeing Jon's new fresh cut 😅 x
😂😂 oh Sharon wait till you see it 😎 looking sharp 👌💙
Once again a brilliant video. Keep up the good work. 👍👍👍
Thanks so much David, so glad you enjoyed it 💙
Wax works incredibly good for cutting aluminium with cutting disc. I use a large candle
Never thought of this. Makes sense as they have a similar consistency 👍💙
Boom! Love a milwaukee power tool! And jess with her matching bodywarmer. Good progress guys 😊
😂😂😂 little bugger! I had no idea!! Thought he was being extra attentive to the door bell but he usually is so didn’t think too much of it 🤦♀️ should have known😂😂😂 bloody boy! Thanks mate 💙
@@truebluetravellers milwaukee battery dremel next for Jon 🤣

Guys, what can I say, yet another great bit of entertainment and know how, knocked out the park again ❤❤❤
As always thanks very much 😊💙💙
I watch TH-cam channels with way more subs that are nowhere near as good as your channel, you've nailed it guys the mix is perfect. Keep going, you will hit the big time, you're so professional now, you have something, some va va voom, reach for the stars ♥ ♥ ♥ 👍 👍 👍 👍
@@RichFlynn1 💙💙💙
Thanks
Thanks so much David, this is really lovely of you and we are very grateful 💙
Thanks for the entertainment guys, another stonking video.
Cutting the roof of showed me their is no ceiling to Jons talent. (groan). And as for Jess doing the wheels, poor thing must be so tyred!
(another groan).
Seriously though its great to see the massive progress being made and explained in such a way its easy to follow.
Glad the donations came in handy and we are all looking forward to Jons green mohican next weekend! Jess, you really didn't send him to the barbers alone did you?? 🫣
😂👏
😂😂😂 love it mate, keep em coming, if I’m honest I’m gutted I didn’t think of these myself
Amazing progress. Love how you two chip in with all the hard work. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks so much! 💙💙💙 he might be a pain in the bum but I do love working with him 💙
Great video guys, Jon is definitely the kid who never grew up 😂❤
Unfortunately your right 🤦♀️😂💙
Very sensible. Growing up is definitely overrated. No idea why I ever wanted to be an adult…🤪
Must appreciate Jon for following the rules, and thanks to all for making his day with the new rivet gun, I’m sure the next few videos will be riveting! 😂.. and also I always wondered what the hard textured paint was called, I’m gonna order some for me 19year old Car shed! Cheers!
😂😂😂 cheers mate, the next vid will definitely go with a bang or should I say pop 👌
Blimey you've more tools and equipment than most professional garages!!! Not often I've seen a tyre machine in someone's garages!!! 😂😂😂
Nor two vehicle lifts 🙂
@@Lee_Proffit we've four ramps at work (3 × 2 post and a 4 post) plus tyre machine and balancer but all the same! 🤣
@@richardhunt1384 That is at your work, these two are in their back garden 🙂
😂😂😂 I love em, probably my favourite thing to do is buy tools 😂👍
@@truebluetravellers Poor Jess :-)
Watching this really makes me want to do a conversion...
😂😂 can’t beat a good project hey 👍
that was fun, thank you, apart from Jess dances moves, looks like a orangutan with fleas wearing boxing gloves, and that rivet gun is really nice. Also the shutters what a cool idea, and the best thing about you guys is you dont skimp on the work, brilliant.
Saturday Sparkle,
😂😂😂😂😂 yep that’s what I recon she looks like too, cheers mate 👍👍
Excellent the weekly dose of John and Jess, you two are just so comical the right mix of crazy and love, I am amazed at johns can do attitude and his skill set is just on another level, also love watching Jess get stuck in, manage a man child and attend a wedding her skills are similar to my lovely wife keep it up don’t change and well done on a great build so far
Thanks very much, I love doing these builds with Jess, we spend all this time creating something fun together, can’t beat it 😊👍
Saturdays can't come round soon enough! Your making great progress, and Jess...what a grafter with those wheels 💪💪.
