The riddim is similar and I would not be surprised if The Wailers were influenced by the big hit, Sound and Pressure. The lyrics however are very different. It would have been nice to hear what Freedom Time would have sounded like if it was re-recorded when The Wailers were at Island. I guess Steven Marley gave us an idea of how it would have sounded when he covered it a few years back.
