Yup used to pull up to entrance to beach they had spring loaded spikes ,get the boards out of truck lay over spikes good to go.....@@MileMarker4k

That's the way to do it! have a few places like that with a similar history out in central mass. Not nearly as fun as plum island would be though@@Rubbertree-r4j
