Nice clear gimic free demo, great to see the penetration having cut it open.
Great job. Perfect penetration. A little trick I do on the outside corner is grind the 2 points down at 90 degrees to their length before fit up, then you get a lovely little corner to fill and more weld left after cleaning up.👍
Give us a quick run down of the settings and types of consumables you Fab with in the vid! I'm in school and these resource videos are GOLD to me! Thank you for the demonstration!
160-170A 22 v
.35 wire 80/20 mix
Wire feed? If you’d be so kind
I can tell that you are a neat person, welding table is so clean !!! Nice welded also thanks
Thanks for watching. 👍
Not always neat and tidy. 😀
Great stuff.
Beautiful weld
Thank you for watching 👍
Nice
I love it.Please share welding parameters …
Can you say what kind of grinder disc you're using? I need one like that
36 grit 4 1/2” ceramic cubitron sanding / flap disc
Thanks for watching 👍
Why are you striking an arc offscreen before you weld?
Most probably To shorten the stick length in prep for the weld. Its a habit.
Hi what setting did you use on the machine to make that weld
I just watched this video with no welding helmet on and now I’m freaking out…
Am I going to go blind…?
Hi Jeremy. 🕶️Unless
you have an ultra violet device to view
The videos
On, then you’ll be just fine.
Sir how many amperes if 1.5mm and 2mm thickness square tube?
why are you welding forward ?
thats called a PJP kid....
How do you get the start of the weld so flat. My welds are always high at the start and then get flatter sigh
Got to be settings. And/or hand speed.
Play around with the settings. Just a matter of hitting the sweet spot with regard to hand speed / wire speed and the amps you’re using / diameter of wire.
@@TheMetalFabGuy Cheers for the reply. My neighbour whos a welding pro came over. Played with the settings for like 20 seconds and now my welds are way flatter then before. Much better penetration too
is that mig welding gasless????
Mig welding WITH Gas
What thickness of metal were welding to?
Around 2.5mm looking at the box.
Machine name
Oerlikon citoline 3000T
What were your settings at?
160-170A 22 v
.35 wire 80/20 mix
Thanks what about wire speed?
This particular set (oerlikon 300A) doesn’t use a standardised or digital display for the wire speed. It’s a Manual dial. So without looking the conversion chart up for the set, or doing it manually, I can’t tell you the exact wire speed at this moment unfortunately.
@@TheMetalFabGuyok thank you very much love your videos btw keep up the good work🤟
Thanks very much Anthony. 👍
