You could right click on the path and then "save as" which gives .kml and .kmz options. My problem though is that this export when viewed/converted with GPSVisualizer always gives me flat surface (no changes in altitude). Context is city roads of Germany.

3d view is not available for all locations only along rode side you can able to see 3D view
