As someone who recently bought the knife in this video (a ka bar incase anyone was wondering) and nicked my thumb on the factory edge, it has a crazy sharp edge. The type of sharp that makes the little cut from when you accidentally let you finger bump against the edge tickles. I seriously cut myself and my thumb felt like I had a paper thin burn that someone was tickling with a feather. I cannot imagine how painful being stabbed in the neck with 7 inches worth of that sharpness is. Let alone how painful it would have been to throw someone off a balcony after.
If i may break this down, the man in green has a vest fully equipped with gear. This may imply he has some training of some kind, hence why he still trucks on after he’s stabbed by the knife, and still manages to push the protagonist after he takes the knife to the throat. Somebody might say this could be a special operations unit or a highly trained criminal. A hitman of sorts. Now let’s take a look at our protagonist. For starters, we see him shacked up in what looks to be a fire watch tower. While his surroundings are in disarray, one might infer that the protagonist has not been staying here for very long, and this place may have been abandoned. While not likely, maybe this hitman could be out for our blue shirted protagonist? This does explain the messiness of his surroundings as he would have to be on the run. Furthermore, this may explain why this protagonist has well developed fighting skills, as he may have had similar encounters to folks of the same breed. Hitmen i mean. Just a thought Edit: While I’m creatively heightened at the moment, let me see If I can piece together a story here: Once upon a time, the American CIA decided to create a program dubbed “Project Sparta.” (I couldn’t think of a better name.) The whole driving force behind the idea was that the government would recruit orphans and street kids to fight for then. The government would privately audit their actions from afar and plucked them from their daily lives to fight for America. Here are the names of 4 such soldiers. Remember them now, they’ll come in later. Garry Thomas: Former Greaser. Abducted from a street gang called “The Superchargers.” They ran a chop shop in which they would steal cars and strip for parts. He acted as a muscle man for the group and frequently got his way using brute force. He acted as the squads heavy weapons guy so to speak, dealing in explosives and LMGs and such. Peter Burrows: The youngest of the group. Grew up inside of an orphanage with lots of other kids. A social outcast, he would often shy away from the other children and would retreat into the world of literature. According to U.S records, he has an I.Q of 152. He acts a long range marksman of the group, specializing in recon and scouting. Joseph Ryan: Former street thief. He and his brother would often break into people’s homes and steal items, pawning them for money. According to the NYC police records, they are responsible for over 26 thefts around the city, and have stole an estimated $5,500 in cash. He was specially chosen for his ability to stay quiet and stealthy. He is light and fast, with a compact suppressed submachine guns to compliment that. Michael Ryan: As the name suggests, he is brothers with Joseph Ryan. He acts as the squad lead of the group, and wields rightfully deserved authority over them. He wields a submachine gun alongside his brother and carries a serbu shotgun as a secondary. Together this team forms the squad, Cicada-1. The best of the best. The elite of the elite. The magnum opus when it comes to special operations. In total, they have served over 15 years together and have earned dozens of medals for their service. On their final mission, the squad was deployed to a remote location in Afghanistan to takedown a high profile target. A silent alarm went off, destroying the building, and everything else next to it. The mission resulted in over 13 hostile casualties and 42 civilian casualties. The final mission the squad completed marked the end of their required time in service, but strangely Garry decided to stay a few years more. The commander, General Maxwell Carter, decided to accept him in. The others in the squad silently resented Garry for that, unable to understand how he can still serve his nation after they just brushed off the death of innocents like that. Within the year, they all went their separate ways. The brothers Ryan went on to establish their own private protection service dubbed, “Ryan and Ryan Co.” Their services have been employed by thousands worldwide, and are highly regarded as one of the best in their profession. Peter decided that with his money, he would create his own small town library. He spent most of his time tending to the vast collection of books in store. As for Gary, well only the government knows of his current whereabouts. One day, the members of Cicada-1 in the public were exposed to a certain piece of media on the news. General Maxwell Carter has just took a major foothold! But the details are gristly. In order to take the city, the General did some atrocious things. He poisoned the cities water supply, polluted the air, turned the soil infertile, and spreaded disease amongst the population. In the end the General took control of the city, because there was nobody alive to defend it. The outcry was astounding. Thousands took to the streets demanding his head on a platter. Tired with the commotion, the government arranged for a trial. While many people wanted Carter behind bars, the government believed that General Maxwell Carter was the best chance they had for a quick and swift end to the war. So they accused him of multiple war crimes, but dropped the sentence moments later. The general went scot free with his crimes. As the brothers ryan watched the man they so hated walk free, they knew they had to take action. The kidnapped the General and tortured him until his corpse was nothing more than a grotesque figure of blood and bone. The next morning, the remains were left to rot on the steps of the Capitol. Remember Gary? Well he’s pretty angry to say the least. He’s pretty ticked off that his former brothers in arms killed his surrogate father, so he vows revenge on his former brothers. In a violent fit of rage, Garry storms the offices of Ryan and Ryan co. Killing nearly everyone on his way to kill the brothers Ryan. He only gets halfway though. As he levels a pistol to Michales forehead, Jospeh tanks the shot killing him. Michael in a blind rage, nearly kills Garry, and wounds him severely. Michael gets lifted to a nearby helicopter. When he leaves the hospital. he falls into a deep depression. Unable to bear the thought of letting his brother die, Michael drowns in deep guilt and regret. Garry wakes up from his slumber and makes for an escape. After evading to police, hd stumbles his way back to his car and drives away. Now you may be asking, where is Peter in all of this? Well not to worry! Peter, after staying away and being neutral in all of this, decides that can’t happen anymore. Taking up his guns, he makes the decision to hunt down the Garry, believing that he can’t rest until the “psychotic abomination” is dispatched. For months he hunts down Garry in a game of cat and mouse. Every time he thinks he has a chance, Garry slips through his fingers. They have danced time and time again, hoping to kill one or the other. On and on they chase, hoping death makes one of them keel over. Meanwhile, Michael has realized that Garry is still out there. He has realized that instead of sitting here, he should hunt down Garry too. In a suicidal attempt, he rings Garry telling him to meet him at a location somewhere in the woods. Garry obliges, saying that when he sees him, he won’t show any mercy. Michael responds by saying that he’s a devil, and that he doesn’t expect it. And so, Michael and Garry meet. Garry came prepared, donning a vest and a knife, he was ready to skin Michael alive. Michael on the other hand, was armed with a blue sweater and balls of tungsten. And so the two fought. Michael died from the fall, and Garry died from his wounds. Moments later, Peter arrived at the scene. He stared at the scene and silently mourned. Later in his long life, he wrote and autobiography about his long life. He recounted tales of valor and glory. Stories of fights and action. The pain and bondage of brotherhood, and in-between. He would die an old man. Warm in his bed. Surrounded by his children and grandchildren. And that is the story of Cicada-1. I think got everything.

As someone who recently bought the knife in this video (a ka bar incase anyone was wondering) and nicked my thumb on the factory edge, it has a crazy sharp edge. The type of sharp that makes the little cut from when you accidentally let you finger bump against the edge tickles. I seriously cut myself and my thumb felt like I had a paper thin burn that someone was tickling with a feather. I cannot imagine how painful being stabbed in the neck with 7 inches worth of that sharpness is. Let alone how painful it would have been to throw someone off a balcony after.

can we just admire how much time he must have put in this
If i may break this down, the man in green has a vest fully equipped with gear. This may imply he has some training of some kind, hence why he still trucks on after he’s stabbed by the knife, and still manages to push the protagonist after he takes the knife to the throat. Somebody might say this could be a special operations unit or a highly trained criminal. A hitman of sorts. Now let’s take a look at our protagonist. For starters, we see him shacked up in what looks to be a fire watch tower. While his surroundings are in disarray, one might infer that the protagonist has not been staying here for very long, and this place may have been abandoned.
While not likely, maybe this hitman could be out for our blue shirted protagonist? This does explain the messiness of his surroundings as he would have to be on the run. Furthermore, this may explain why this protagonist has well developed fighting skills, as he may have had similar encounters to folks of the same breed. Hitmen i mean.

Once upon a time, the American CIA decided to create a program dubbed “Project Sparta.” (I couldn’t think of a better name.) The whole driving force behind the idea was that the government would recruit orphans and street kids to fight for then. The government would privately audit their actions from afar and plucked them from their daily lives to fight for America. Here are the names of 4 such soldiers. Remember them now, they’ll come in later.
Garry Thomas: Former Greaser. Abducted from a street gang called “The Superchargers.” They ran a chop shop in which they would steal cars and strip for parts. He acted as a muscle man for the group and frequently got his way using brute force. He acted as the squads heavy weapons guy so to speak, dealing in explosives and LMGs and such.
Peter Burrows: The youngest of the group. Grew up inside of an orphanage with lots of other kids. A social outcast, he would often shy away from the other children and would retreat into the world of literature. According to U.S records, he has an I.Q of 152. He acts a long range marksman of the group, specializing in recon and scouting.
Joseph Ryan: Former street thief. He and his brother would often break into people’s homes and steal items, pawning them for money. According to the NYC police records, they are responsible for over 26 thefts around the city, and have stole an estimated $5,500 in cash. He was specially chosen for his ability to stay quiet and stealthy. He is light and fast, with a compact suppressed submachine guns to compliment that.
Michael Ryan: As the name suggests, he is brothers with Joseph Ryan. He acts as the squad lead of the group, and wields rightfully deserved authority over them. He wields a submachine gun alongside his brother and carries a serbu shotgun as a secondary.
Together this team forms the squad, Cicada-1. The best of the best. The elite of the elite. The magnum opus when it comes to special operations. In total, they have served over 15 years together and have earned dozens of medals for their service.
On their final mission, the squad was deployed to a remote location in Afghanistan to takedown a high profile target. A silent alarm went off, destroying the building, and everything else next to it. The mission resulted in over 13 hostile casualties and 42 civilian casualties. The final mission the squad completed marked the end of their required time in service, but strangely Garry decided to stay a few years more. The commander, General Maxwell Carter, decided to accept him in. The others in the squad silently resented Garry for that, unable to understand how he can still serve his nation after they just brushed off the death of innocents like that.
Within the year, they all went their separate ways. The brothers Ryan went on to establish their own private protection service dubbed, “Ryan and Ryan Co.” Their services have been employed by thousands worldwide, and are highly regarded as one of the best in their profession.
Peter decided that with his money, he would create his own small town library. He spent most of his time tending to the vast collection of books in store.
As for Gary, well only the government knows of his current whereabouts.
One day, the members of Cicada-1 in the public were exposed to a certain piece of media on the news. General Maxwell Carter has just took a major foothold! But the details are gristly. In order to take the city, the General did some atrocious things. He poisoned the cities water supply, polluted the air, turned the soil infertile, and spreaded disease amongst the population. In the end the General took control of the city, because there was nobody alive to defend it. The outcry was astounding. Thousands took to the streets demanding his head on a platter. Tired with the commotion, the government arranged for a trial. While many people wanted Carter behind bars, the government believed that General Maxwell Carter was the best chance they had for a quick and swift end to the war. So they accused him of multiple war crimes, but dropped the sentence moments later. The general went scot free with his crimes. As the brothers ryan watched the man they so hated walk free, they knew they had to take action. The kidnapped the General and tortured him until his corpse was nothing more than a grotesque figure of blood and bone. The next morning, the remains were left to rot on the steps of the Capitol. Remember Gary? Well he’s pretty angry to say the least. He’s pretty ticked off that his former brothers in arms killed his surrogate father, so he vows revenge on his former brothers.
In a violent fit of rage, Garry storms the offices of Ryan and Ryan co. Killing nearly everyone on his way to kill the brothers Ryan. He only gets halfway though. As he levels a pistol to Michales forehead, Jospeh tanks the shot killing him. Michael in a blind rage, nearly kills Garry, and wounds him severely. Michael gets lifted to a nearby helicopter. When he leaves the hospital. he falls into a deep depression. Unable to bear the thought of letting his brother die, Michael drowns in deep guilt and regret. Garry wakes up from his slumber and makes for an escape. After evading to police, hd stumbles his way back to his car and drives away.
Now you may be asking, where is Peter in all of this? Well not to worry! Peter, after staying away and being neutral in all of this, decides that can’t happen anymore. Taking up his guns, he makes the decision to hunt down the Garry, believing that he can’t rest until the “psychotic abomination” is dispatched. For months he hunts down Garry in a game of cat and mouse. Every time he thinks he has a chance, Garry slips through his fingers. They have danced time and time again, hoping to kill one or the other. On and on they chase, hoping death makes one of them keel over.
Meanwhile, Michael has realized that Garry is still out there. He has realized that instead of sitting here, he should hunt down Garry too. In a suicidal attempt, he rings Garry telling him to meet him at a location somewhere in the woods. Garry obliges, saying that when he sees him, he won’t show any mercy.
Michael responds by saying that he’s a devil, and that he doesn’t expect it.
And so, Michael and Garry meet. Garry came prepared, donning a vest and a knife, he was ready to skin Michael alive. Michael on the other hand, was armed with a blue sweater and balls of tungsten. And so the two fought. Michael died from the fall, and Garry died from his wounds. Moments later, Peter arrived at the scene. He stared at the scene and silently mourned.
Later in his long life, he wrote and autobiography about his long life. He recounted tales of valor and glory. Stories of fights and action. The pain and bondage of brotherhood, and in-between. He would die an old man. Warm in his bed. Surrounded by his children and grandchildren.
And that is the story of Cicada-1. I think got everything.
