FYI, Suho trained the longest, almost 7 years because He supposed to debut as a SHINEe member but he didn't make it due to his knee injury but it's a blessing in disguised because Exo starts at Him. That's why he is the guardian.

I remember when GROWL became like national anthem in Skorea in that era. When ppl there being asked if they know exo they'd proly say, "ah, Eureurong(growl)?"
you dont even know what they went through their debuts..they were called as SM BIGGEST MISTAKE AND FLOPS ..bcoz of which they went on a year hiatus....but again EXO came back stronger...people or kpop satns think that if someone is from the big 3 companies that is SM, JYP and YG..then their groups dont have any trouble...but EXO went through a lot no privilege was given to them..they could barely even eat after they hit big...only 18 people were there ai their first sign meet , performed on roads and streets to gather public attraction they started off like any other normal group and had much more difficulites
and they don't even receive much now too, despite being from SM, they never promoted them, they deserved a lot more. They'd be known by LOT more people, if SM had put some effort. But idc, I just love their music, personality and their affection towards fans. EXO has set the bars too high.

Every member has a different training period.... Its the longest for Suho i.e. 6.5 years... The smallest is Chen and Baekhyun's - 6 months... Everyone else has from 4 Years to 2 years.
Some of exo members have individual solo career ,you can check out baekhyun solo ,Chen solo ,Suho solo ,and lay solo too .Suho just debut last may ,you can check out his songs on youtube.
EXO was considered as SM'S biggest flop, a failure and a mistake but despite that they prove them all wrong, instead they became one of the biggest boy group in Korea and even paved way to a bigger number of audiences. They top not only Korea charts but also a had huge success in China. They also top in Billboard and was invited but fuckin SM declined. So yess. Exo is legend, exo is trendsetter and yes exo is the bar.
