Thank you! You are a breath of fresh air! Good video.. "Hey Vinny - who's that guy over there - that's so-and-so. Well call so-and-so and him that we don't need him in our trash and construction business" LOL
What process? what type works best for you? Or getting approval from the bank? Or checking to see if it’s Mechanically sound? I don’t know what process you’re looking for
TruckNMowBiz thanks for your videos. I like the one where you compared the dump truck with the tractor and how you can go do other loads by unhooking the trailer. Makes 💯 sense
Thanks for letting me know, it encourages me to do more. glad it helped. The reason why without knowing anything about Las Vegas it sounds like a good place to do end dump is because no rain and should be more year round so I like it a lot keep us posted on your progress
TruckNMowBiz I currently drive a concrete mixer. The crazy thing is that this year it has rained a whole lot. I for sure will let you know. God Bless you Boss!
Welner Zuleta how is your business doing? I hope you’re doing well! I’m currently doing research and planning and will be starting up soon. Hope to hear some good advice. Thanks
Do you recommend getting a quad or a 6 axle dump the quad is 24 foot and 6 axle is 36 foot. Can you use a 6 axle in NC? How are the winters using end dumps.
In Minnesota where we operate there is usually more work more consistent through the week with an end dump. But I think it has to do with the connection a company has. Not sure what would be best in NC. Let me know if you have any other questions hopefully I can of been help
I need a permitt for NC to. Let's say I'm not hauling heavy and using the 6 axle end dump. Can I use it when not hauling heavy as long as it's not over the weight limit until I need to haul heavy and grab a permit
He said Frac sand fell off the face of the earth..!! 🤣😂 dude I’m intrigued with your story and I can’t leave also I’m in Houston, tx thinking about starting my own trucking business..👍😎
I do t do much hopper anymore. I had a big contract running dried Frac sand to the rail locally. Other most of what I know is running bulk load boards till you meet the right brokers and go from there. Hopefully this helps
I saw hoppers driving by my house every day, eventually fallowed them to see who they where working for then called the company and asked if we could work for them.
Hello thank you for the good information. I’m Katy, TX, I would like please for you to give me some advice how to get contracts or get job for end Dump. Thank you Eudi
@@LawnCareProfits I'm in cali been doin end dump and rate are pretty much same out here but I major ly gravel, concrete, base erc.the hopper n belly's actually make a lil more but they mostly haul food and produce. a few ppl I know been telling me to pull the bottoms cus they hold more than my 40ft 25ton ED.idk playin to move out of cali tho laws are crazy texas here I come.
THEDC81025 yes I have a wet kit on my truck. If you have a day cab and you’re wondering what type of trailer you should get it all depends on your market way too big of a question for me to answer without knowing a lot more details. I don’t know if you should get a hydraulic wet kit installed for me the answer would be absolutely for you I’m not sure I don’t have enough information. Even though I don’t have enough information I will say that in Trucking , Being able to switch gears and ready to make a move at any time has been a huge part of my success meaning maybe driving freight locally is paying pretty good in your area and then all the sudden the rate goes down but you hear of another opportunity can you switch to that opportunity within a weeks time? If that opportunity involves a wet kit and you have one you probably could if not you probably couldn’t. Hopefully that helps
Marcio K9 there isn’t a cut and dry answer to this question but an employee I’ve heard as low as 16per hour and as high as 47 plus overtime after 40. I’d say average is 22 to 25 per hour. Owner operator top pay would be 250k per year realistically probably 190k
Hey is 190k after paying all expenses or it’s gross? I’m from New York and it gets slow here during the winter. Should I still expect around that figure?
@@LawnCareProfits good for you. It's hard to find that balance between destroying rates or undercutting. I've seen towing companies go after each other mob style over customers in the past. There's an Adam in Wakarusa that was recently selling an end dump. I didn't buy it buy ya'll look like you could be related, hence my question. Good luck dealing with your competitors and their antics, sir.
So I’m curious I own my own trucks I currently have 5 right now I drive myself and I have 4 other guys and I have a end dump trailer a belly dump trailer and a hopper bottom, and a tank and I’m the owner and operator I have my permits and everything ready to go so I’m basically just sitting so like what I want to do is just find work somehow I don’t want to go through a broker or anything and I just basically want to do local work like hauling grain specifically and like filling swimming pools and such and then dry bulk with my dump trailers and I want local work like basically just a person calls me and I get in the truck and go or send one of my guys to go do it so any advice or guidance helps, Thanks!
@@LawnCareProfits So would that also like apply for hauling sand or gravel things like that? So basically what I’m asking I guess do you know what kind of company I would contact for loads like that?
Thank you for sharing your story. I'm sorry your wife says things like you mentioned she says to you. I feel your pain. I always tell my son if someone calls you stupid then you know that that is were there coming from a place of ignorance that is because intelligent people know everyone is smart in something and no one is smart in everything. In another words everyone has there strengths and there weakness's. People with real knowledge see everyone as worth something. Oh and just so you know, from what I can tell most females have problems with there mouths, not being able to shut them that is lol.. But I digress. I'm looking into running end dump in my area. There's a lot of road construction going on so there's a lot of end dumps needed for the next 3 to 5 years. I have no truck or trailer currently but do not see that as being that big of deal obtaining that is. Guess I'll find a day cab with a wet kit and finance it and then do the same thing with the trailer if I have to, I mean if the company doesn't rent them or supply them that is. I don't think they do but haven't talked directly with them yet but will do so shortly. I've been working for company's driving there trucks for around 13 years and well I'll just say I'm ready to do something different. I used to think I wanted to run my own rig because of the money but now I think it's because I just want a bit more freedom. In another words no one can fire me except me.. Yeah that's it lol.. Again thanks for sharing your story. It helped me a lot. You’re a good man Charlie brown.
Hey, thanks for the kind words. It’s funny I’m actually in college station for the week and have been noticing all the belly’s end dumps and dump trucks around. Looks like plenty of work around... good luck and let me know if I can answer any questions.
Me Gusto mucho tu video muchos buenos consejos yo tambien corto yardas y apenas agarre mi CDL me pienso comprar mi primer end dump.

What motors is in your freightliner and sterling and what year are they
The sterling is an 04 with a 14 leader Detroit. The freightliner is an 05 with a Mercedes in it.
