Yonex supergrap, I like to wrap it from the square end and finish with the starting tapered end so I don’t need the finishing tape. If I tried the same with Wilson overgrip the starting taper has a small portion on the starting taper end that doesn’t have the sticky part to it.
Love Wilson, but a like for like clone (if not the same grip with a different branding) is Diadem. And since you can’t turn around without finding a “brand ambassador”, you can usually get it for super cheap.
yonex super grap is one of the few overgrips that i'll see players sponsored by other companies (especially in beach tennis, padel, pickleball) make an exception to their deal and use yonex instead of the grips from their sponsor.
I have sweaty hands and play in tropical weather and was never a fan of the “dry” grips. Wilson and Yonex are on par but I prefer Yonex bc I noticed it had a little more cushioning and lasted longer for me especially the tackiness. Only tested with the white grip variants though. Fun fact, in Japan the Wilson pro overgrip have the sticky angled sides on both sides of the grip. I haven’t seen that in other countries I’ve bought Wilson in. I’ve also tried Solinco, alien pros, Head, Tecnifibre and never liked them or didn’t have as much tack as they claim.
So far I've been using wilson, but I'm waiting on a 12 pack of head, so excited to try, also because I'm switching from wilson rackets to head boom pro
I use the Head Super Comp. It is thinner but when my hands get wet it and the grip gets wet it seems to grip better and the racquet doesn't slip in my hand. I used to order Wilson all the time and it seemed like they would get slick quick.
What? What about Tourna? Several pros use/used it and it was/is its main product, so it must sell pretty well. Not that I'm a pro, but I use it. I used to use Wilson, but I like Tourna much better for the feel and durability.
I’ve tried all three and like them, but mainly use Wilson as it’s easier to buy in the large bag/bulk. Dunlop and tourna are also good. I tried babalot and found it to be the worst - felt super cheap after one hitting session.
Wilson Pro is great, but Gamma Supreme is a better version of the Wilson Pro. It lasts much longer and has the same feel and tackiness. However, like all grips, color plays a huge factor. White is the best for sure. I've tried other colors and black, and they all don't perform as well as white. Same with the Wilson Pro, Yonex Super Grap, etc. etc. I only stick with white now.
Surely this is highly personal? I recently gripped one racket with Yonex Super Grap and the other with Tourna Tuff and they were both excellent, just different. It's like comparing cars, bikes etc.
For me it’s Wilson all the way. Has best combo of thickness, tackiness, sweat absorption, softness, tear resistence compared to others. I use white as it reflects sunlight more so my hands don’t sweat as much. I don’t want it too tacky or too dry, so Wilson has a good balance.
WILSON Pro is hard to beat - particularly in white as the tack level and durability lasts for ages, it also generally doesn't leave a lot of residue once it's removed. I've used coloured versions of the YONEX Super Grap and I find it deteriorates quickly if it absorbs too much moisture through sweat - I play in a sub tropical climate and it tends to leave a ton of residue on the base grip. The HEAD Prime Tour I haven't used enough of to have an opinion on, but it feels slightly less tacky than the WILSON overgrip
I’m very surprised you guys didn’t choose the Mega Tac by Torna grips… it’s definitely the tackiest overgrip vs any other brand.. Lastly, why are your over grips so uneven and bumpy on the rackets you guys are using? 🤔🤷♂️🤨
Sorry guys, but all 3 are crap...if you want it thin, take tourna tac, if you want comfort and tac take gamma supreme both are better than all of these three together.
Tourna Grip here, Tried Dunlop, Wilson, Yonex, Gamma, Head and I always come back to the one I've used since 95.
Yonex supergrap, I like to wrap it from the square end and finish with the starting tapered end so I don’t need the finishing tape. If I tried the same with Wilson overgrip the starting taper has a small portion on the starting taper end that doesn’t have the sticky part to it.
Dunlop over grips are great. I also use Wilson. Living in the desert southwest, I use tournament in the warmer months.
Love Wilson, but a like for like clone (if not the same grip with a different branding) is Diadem. And since you can’t turn around without finding a “brand ambassador”, you can usually get it for super cheap.
Tourna Mega Tac!
Tournagrip gang where yall at?
XXL only
it's a great grip but it wouldn't make sense in this test since it's less apples-to-apples
Tourna tuff
Gamma is very similar to the Wilson and is a bit less expensive in a large reel -I also like the Head grips too.

U can try the Volkl V-dry, it's my favourite one among the dry grips so far. Better durability than tourna, but not as much tackiness
So far I've been using wilson, but I'm waiting on a 12 pack of head, so excited to try, also because I'm switching from wilson rackets to head boom pro
I'm a Gamma user but as long as it's a tacky white grip it all works well for me
yonex supergrap all the way!
easily.

I was using Wilson Pro overgrip ... until I found Diadem. Diadem overgrip feels like Wilson overgrip, only better.
I’ve tried all three and like them, but mainly use Wilson as it’s easier to buy in the large bag/bulk. Dunlop and tourna are also good. I tried babalot and found it to be the worst - felt super cheap after one hitting session.

Volkl grips takes all down. Highest quality grips Ive tried, reasonably priced too. Hard to beat
Mega tac by Tourna grip is the best!! It’s not even close!!
I love supergrap. Been using it for a year or two. My hands do sweat, and it's great. Super tacky, racket doesn't slip.
Try TOALSON grips…❤🎉
They should have multiple videos so they can address the plethora of different overgrips out there including dry grips.
Head Xtremesoft is my favorite, I seem to be the only one
Way more durable than the Wilson Pro and stays tacky for longer.
Wilson Pro is pretty sticky and gets dirty fast. I like Head Prime Tour, basically a slightly dryer version of Wilson Pro.
Wilson Perforated. Isn’t as durable but also more sweat absorption as long as you have a decent replacement grip or use two overgrips
Surely this is highly personal? I recently gripped one racket with Yonex Super Grap and the other with Tourna Tuff and they were both excellent, just different. It's like comparing cars, bikes etc.

Does anyone know if they come from the same factory in Indonesia? Tennis balls are mostly made in Thailand in one factory..

Not using overgrips. I have Yonex Leather replacements on my current racquet.
Tourna had the edge for me
What Solinco blackout model do you use?
Pretty sure xtd with tons of lead tape
Dry grip = Tourna
Tacky grip = Yonex Super Grap and Wilson Pro Overgrip
Do you have emil ?
should try toalson asterista
Wilson pro 9 moths x year... Yonex drygrap for summer
nothing beat Wilson overgrip, all orhers might be ok for winter. in summer time sweat a lot, Wilson the only grip.
I’m very surprised you guys didn’t choose the Mega Tac by Torna grips… it’s definitely the tackiest overgrip vs any other brand.. Lastly, why are your over grips so uneven and bumpy on the rackets you guys are using? 🤔🤷♂️🤨
Prince Resipro is the best and most underrated grip by far
Tournagrip is BEST!!!
Yep!
Yonex is my favorite but Wilson pro over grips are a great replacement.
I don’t use overgrips; it’s all about the head hydrosorb!
tourna grip ftw
head prime tour is the best
Wilson comfort, by far.
Never found a grip close to Tourna. We’re all different.
i’m from indonesia
in here head is the cheapest and wilson is the expensive one…
but i’m using yonex
SuperGrap for the win but if $$$ is a concern then TruPro TruTack can't be beat!!!!
Guys try msv cyber wet
Super Grap is the best!
Kimony’s worked the best for me
Toalson Asterista goated 🏆🏆
SuperGrap is 0.6mm thick and Pro is 0.55mm thick so they cannot be the same material even tho they might come from the same factory.
Tourna Mega Tac is the stickiest grip hands down
Dunlap super tac
Gamma supreme
Where’s tourna?!
Supergrap 4 Life
Volkl v-tac rules… for me…
Tourna tuff all the way...
yonex SG
Kimony 0.5mm
Gamma
Sorry guys, but all 3 are crap...if you want it thin, take tourna tac, if you want comfort and tac take gamma supreme both are better than all of these three together.
The Head Overgrip is way better than yonex & wilson. Last longer. Coach Cris has no idea what quality means 😂 (joke) 😂
