HOW? in this video they just give us the example of Preposition with Dativ case. they don't give us WHEN , we must to use the dativ or preposition with dativ
Omg i can’t believe I discovered this channel so late! Such quality content that is life changing! Please keep doing what you are doing, it really helps all aspirants.
This a very helpful video but please note one common basic error in your translation: in English we would never say ‘Since one year I am living in Germany.’ It is more grammatically correct, and natural, to say: ‘I have lived in Germany for a year’.
@@LearnGermanOriginal Why is this lesson not part of A1 playlist ? I have been doing the A1 playlist but now I see this video which is not part of A1 playlist
hallo , thank you so much for such an wounder full video , can you please explain me the difference between this two sentence (1) ich habe seit zehn jahren klavier gespielt (2) ich spiele seit zehn jahren klavier
"Seit" is used a preposition when you began with an activity sometime ago and it is still going on. (2) is perfectly correct! (I am still doing it) (1) are you talking about an activity that has ended? then you can say: Ich habe zehn Jahre Klavier gespielt. (and I don't do that anymore)

i think , this video made my day , thank you soo much for that . can you please tell that , is it correct to use "ab" in the following situations . (1) Wir fahren ab der universität mit dem Auto . ( we are travelling from the university with the car) (2) Jetzt fährt er ab meinem Haus mit meinem Fahrrad. ( now , he is travelling from my home with my bicycle) (3) Sie fahren ab speakeasy mit dem Auto. (( speakeasy is an language institut , in which both speaker and listener are know about it)) in all above examples , the speaker is trying to say the location , from where the speaker would like to travel . i mean all above statments will give answer to the question "" WHAT IS THE LOCATION , FROM WHERE ( WE / HE / THEY ) ARE TRAVELLING"".
Hi! Monika, My question is that here zwichen, unter, neben, hinter, these are the important preposition neither you have discussed about these in accusative nor in dativ?
What is the difference between 🔴ich trinke kaffee ohne Zucker . 🔴ich trinke kaffee mit Zucker How to know whether we have use akkusativ order nominative?
Ich trinke Kaffee ohne Zucker - I drink coffee without sugar. Ich trinke Kaffee mit Zucker - I drink coffee with sugar. IMPORTANT:- We can get to know that whether a sentence is Nominative oder Akkusativ by seeing the verb or the preposition. In the sentence above : Ich trinke Kaffee ohne Zucker - AKKUSATIV - ohne(akkusativ preposition) Ich trinke Kaffee mit Zucker - DATIV - mit(dativ preposition).

Hi, I have a question. You said that " Du sitzt mir gegenuber" is an example of gegenuber being after the artikel. Can you also say " Do sitzt gegenuber mir?" It would be much appreciated if this is answered!!
Good video, but at 7:30, I don't think "You can continue to work from Monday" is a very good translation in English. Perhaps "You can continue to work starting (or, on) Monday"
Vielen Dank ! that was very useful , i had some difficulties with the preposition "Bei" but i conclue that we use it to indicate the place we are in without really belonging to this place. ist das richtig ?
What will come in this one: Was müssen Sie alles __ einer Reise erledigen? Was für papiere braucht man, wenn man __ die grenze fahren will? Bist du jetzt ___ der Reihe? Sie haben ein Haus __ dem Land
Using the right dative preposition in the right context is the most challenging part.

Gestern war ich beim Arzt.
Heute gehe ich zum Arzt .
why we use "bei" in the first example and "zu" in the second one ?
Gestern war ich beim Arzt. (Wo warst du?)
Heute gehe ich zum Arzt. (Wohin gehst du?)
Zum Arzt - to where. beim Arzt- with whom.
Das ist am besten erklären.
Das ist sehr nützlich

What is the difference between
🔴ich trinke kaffee ohne Zucker .
🔴ich trinke kaffee mit Zucker
How to know whether we have use akkusativ order nominative?
By remembering that ohne is an accusative preposition, and mit is dative.
Ich trinke Kaffee ohne Zucker - I drink coffee without sugar.
Ich trinke Kaffee mit Zucker - I drink coffee with sugar.
IMPORTANT:-
We can get to know that whether a sentence is Nominative oder Akkusativ by seeing the verb or the preposition.
In the sentence above :
Ich trinke Kaffee ohne Zucker - AKKUSATIV - ohne(akkusativ preposition)
Ich trinke Kaffee mit Zucker - DATIV - mit(dativ preposition).
