Man was I glad when they implemented this feature. I use it mostly while playing League of Legends and certain games that I can play in borderless window mode. No need for a second monitor :).

For me (at least with YT videos), I'm able to use both the spacebar and arrows as media controls (play/pause, forward, rewind, volume).
