Mine came in 3 days ago. I was skeptical but, this thing is pretty awesome. It disappears in my front pocket. Just wish they polished up the titanium and cut a groove in the leather where the black border that says "TRAYVAX" is above the top leather strap. It blows out very slightly. Other than that, I'll be buying more straps to switch up the look later down the road.
I get that something is worth whatever people are willing to pay, but $150 for a piece of leather clamped in some steel seems unreasonably high and puts this way beyond what I think most people would pay.
Well, I guess you found your gold mine, just start up a company in your garage and begin cranking out copies of these and sell them for half price. Business is easy, just do the math, you think something should cost way less? Go and make it then. It won't take long before you are super rich by taking someone else's ideas, claim you thought it up, then train some workers from that vast pool of educated, skilled hard workers out there, get some experienced marketing and sales staff from all those sitting around waiting for your call for employment and go to a bank (ware a nice suit) to lend you plenty of startup money to finance everything, hire a great accountant that can have you driving around in nice company trucks and cars and then insure everything incase everything gets stolen or someone cuts of a finger or two while working for you, I'm sure you have it all figured out how to make things just like these then sell them for half price this guy is charging. Then get a hot wife, have a couple of kids, pay for a divorce and child support and get another wife, you'll be living the dream. It's so easy for smart people like you. Just do it.
Why does your demo wallet have a different logo than the leather samples shown in the upper right corner? Love the review. Looking forward to getting one for my birthday next month.
Melinda Helms Trayvax recently updated their branding a little while ago. The stock images I used to show the different colors are older. The version I have is the newest version.
This is a great looking wallet - HOWEVER, the topmost card WILL 100% get damaged by this wallet (I know - I’ve had one) by the constant rubbing of the topmost metal against the card when you pull it in and out. Also, the card section which rests under the rivet (where the clasp is) gets damaged too.......Way too expensive for all these flaws....
Pretty much this stopped me from buying one. These issues need to be fixed and they need to offer one w/o a lanyard hole. If they fix these things then I'll gladly give them my money. Thanks for your comment
They have actually fixed the issue with top cards getting damaged. It was an issue with the machining of the plate that touched cards wasn't smoothed enough. I have the titanium version, 8 cards. I keep my drivers license on top and it has no scratches whatsoever after 3 months of use.
the button 🔘 fastener is no good! thats why i returned my element, everyone reviewing the element or contour all say it doesn't come undone, pure lies! it comes undone very easily, trayvax need to just make it click into place, and not try to be too clever.
