You know there's a cap in NHL that each team has to work with, you cant just buy messi for $400 million a year, each team has a cap space of $87.7 million that includes the cost of all current contracts? Just a FYI.
Iam from europe so just out of curiosity. Do NHL teams also use this NFL strat of spreading the total to more years and void those in order to trick the cap. Not really sure how this works

Did you even listen to the whole thing? He says that they are not a farm team as in they dont build big names JUST to sell them later on.
Ence is just not big enough org to be able to keep up with insane buyouts of big dog orgs. And end up being robbed of good teams. But that doesnt mean that they want this cycle to happen
