They really do look like they're having fun. As someone that doesn't speak the language, I love their beats and focus is on their behavior and dance. Not trying to start any hate threads, but they seem more carefree than Black Pink. I wish more people in the states knew about other KPop bands like MAMAMOO.

@@dashing11 That's because they are under a small label that is more relaxed and less strict (they didn't choose perfect angelic looking idols Korean standard-wise and manufacture them to the end). They aren't forced to look or speak or act a certain way and are allowed freedom to adlib and goof around or put on a bit of weight which other labels like YG and SM don't allow.
They are treated less like commodities to make money and more like a band and group of people and it shows as they are allowed to be expressive and have fun.

i really like the fact that mamamoo and 1million started a consistent relationship because it allows everyone to see that all of mamamoo are incredible and flexible dancers as well!! like their vocals have always been on point but they put their all in dancing too! the energy, the vibes, the steps, the expressions!! mamamoo is just the complete package and it warms my heart to see them on 1million, which i already love aaa

Wheein’s such a great dancer because she doesn’t under dance or over dance. She dances like she’s making art and she’s doing it for the art. You can see behind the scenes that she focuses on how she executes the dance properly and with proper form. That’s why her dancing looks fluid and effortless. Kinda like her singing too. Some don’t realize that she’s the group’s backbone. Like if MAMAMOO were a cake, Wheein is the mixture which is the base - she's got the basics down, has all necessary traits to make a grade-A idol; Hwasa is the filling that gives the flavor - she's unlike anyone else, giving you a taste that is original; Solar is the right amount of icing/frosting - she controls the dynamics well, her tone ranging from thin to thick and from low to high; finally, Moonbyul is the toppings that make the cake stand out - she catches your attention with her not so typical style of rapping, dancing and even the way she carries herself, making you want to try the whole cake.

Unpopular opinion: Wheein is an even better dancer than a vocalist and that says a lot because she’s an incredible singer. Her dancing skills are just literally limitless.

When I saw Wheein in Gleam, I realized her sweet honey vocals paired with her amazing dancing makes my head explode every time from how much talent she possesses.
I have always said that she's probably the most underrated female dancer. She is decent or good, she's wow, she has a lot of technique and control
I'm a little sad she wasn't feeling well during Queendom when they need a member in the "dance team". Don't get me wrong Byulie did great, but it'd be a lovely chance for Wheein the hidden gem to shine if she get the dance role. She could easily slay basically any dance style and that need recognition!

What I've always observed abt yong is that she's SO good with camera direction, and her energy, she never puts less than 100% of her energy into a performance and works so well with the cameras and her expressions uff. One thing that makes mamamoo unique from all kpop girl bands is that they are not divided by their moves like who dances better becomes main lead dncr and dances in front almost till the song ends. Although they are equally hard working and keep up their dancing together… no one is classified as main dancer, lead vocals, or visuals…etc bullshit things …, these are just classification that make other member feel quite uncompetitive and they become quite unpopular member of their group.
That’s why i love them their group doesn’t show these kinds of rationalisation which makes them impressive and unique.
I love how everything MAMAMOO looks, they look fresher, more natural, healthier in a nutshell, without a doubt they are more than just idols, I see wheein healthier, she is fuller, I think she is The only kpop girl with a body like that, healthier, I mean hwasa too, but that's obvious, moonbyul and solar also look super incredible, they all came back more beautiful and they look more relaxed, Their faces reflect beautiful smiles, I don't know if it's me, but the healthiest both mentally and physically, that's what I perceive in their looks, I appreciate that they gave them a good rest, And they came back with everything, to show that they are true artists, that they are the best that kpop could bring, that's what I think, since I don't like kpop, but they do, they have something, One more spark of women, more of ARTISTS!
