Good grief, this was not newsworthy and was no big deal. I worked for an airline and we could have a 737 turned around in 35 minutes or less. There was nothing "dangerous" about what this crew did.
That blogger is way way off base and he's got no clue as to what he's talking about. I've worked ground services for two airlines including Delta and a 737 can be readied for flight in a 30 minute turn time. Even the first flight of the day pre flight can be done in less than an hour. Some guy who sits in a dark room and "flies" Flight Simulator X is no expert. You guys are in the DFW area if you want to talk to someone who knows about flying there's no shortage here. Ask a real pilot. Also the plane was not in the hurricane but in the rain bands
