I want to thank you for everything you do for us, you are Argentinian and my native language is Spanish. You make the classes easier and it is a pleasure to spend time learning your lessons. Thank you
After a long time I'm back to ur channel to perfect my American accent........because of some reasons I couldn't practice the accent training when I started it, but this time I make sure that I'll finish it off......i gotta do this no matter what...... Wish me a luck guys♥
This is extremely helpful! I’ve been struggling to say a local street name “Northshore” as one word smoothly for years! I practiced with your method for a while, and it’s much easier now. Thank you for always helping people ❤️ 🎩
Wow this is super helpful! 4:55 The biggest tip is that your tongue doesn't have to be completely under the top front teeth when moving from a S/Z sound to a TH sound. This makes it more comfortable for me to do the S/Z -> T transition.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! i've been studying english about 2 months ago, and i know that this is not so much time but i was getting very nervous about the th sound after a s sound, and im still strugling with but you dont have any idea how much this helped me, i owe you so many thanks really
Learning English requires patience Some can pick quickly and some take time So never give up You can learn English not only through books or TH-cam channels but you can catch something from every walk of life Never stop learning because life never stops teaching
Great lines dude .... I wasn't good at my studies compare to other guys in my school but my English always been good but after browsing on TH-cam I got some many creator like keenyn who have helped me to get the accent ...
This has really helped me! In my country the voiced and unvoiced "th" sounds are simply pronounced as "d" and "t" respectively, so because of that I couldn't be fully understood by native speakers and understand them too. Thanks for the help.
Thanks for your video, it's very helpful. The following are my learning notes. 3 key things to remember to master moving smoothly from S or Z to TH. S/Z正常发音,舌头快速运动 1. small slide 0:50 This is about how the tongue needs to move. you make a small slide forward, the tip of the tongue slides forward just a bit. 2. keep the flow 2:45 you have to keep the flow, or you have to keep the air continuously moving as you go from sound to sound, the air continues to flow over the tongue and out the front of the mouth, you do not want the tongue at any point to press against the roof of the mouth or the teeth and stop the flow of air. 3. gentle touch 4:05 the th sound the tongue is touching the bottom of the top teeth, but the touch is very gentle, it's very light, the tip of the tongue and the teeth are just barely connecting in order to allow the air to continuously flow between the tongue and teeth, don't press the tongue against the bottom of the teeth. Another secret 4:54 S/Z正常发音,发TH音时可以如下所述发音。(但是其他老师的教程TH after S or Z,都是正常发音,舌头快速运动) the tongue doesn't have to be completely under the top front teeth, it is possible to keep the tongue behind the teeth, pointed towards the back of the teeth. Practice 5:36 TH after S or Z 7:22 TH before S or Z
Keenyn, you are gorgeous and well prepared. You just dive into the subject without wasting no time. I will be the first to sign up in your class but you still haven't started yet.
you really helped me a lot! I've been studying English for 9 months and until this day I've fought to pronounce these combinations but after watching this video 2 days, all got so easier!
Oh thanks god, cause as soon as i played the video i thought for a second that you had lost your mind😂😂😂, but seriously i'm very thankful for your great effort, your chanel deserves 1 million subscribers
Hi keenyn it's a pleasure to watch your videos You explain very well and your voice is wonderful thanks for your support Have a great Thursday my dear teacher 😉🇧🇷
Amazing!! You really do go the extra mile. This is a very specific feature to go over, and it's almost impossible to come across in any videos or literature about it. I've searched. Could you make a video about TH before D, as in the word "Birthday". A lot of us struggle with that transition. Thank you!!
Yes, JaniS, your ears do not deceive you! The Flap T sounds like a soft R in several languages. It does not sound at all like the American R, and that is why you don't hear me explain it this way. 😊 If it helps to think of Flap T as like your soft R you absolutely should! You are most welcome JaniS! So glad you enjoyed the lesson! 😊
Good morning madam , I have become your student already because I love your lessons . You are excellent teacher . I need a native speaker partner so that I can develop my speaking fluency . Please ..... I need your blessing help . Thanks a lot
Keenyn thanks a million great lesson. And what happens with th sound in 'with this/with that' ? When the word ends and start with th? Can you make a video on these one ? Thanks in advance
Could you please make a video about the voiced th too? Like for example in the sentence: Think this through thoroughly. How do you correctly transition from the s to the voiced th?
you said ( is that your final answer) is the T in a word (that) glottal stop , you hold the air in your throat, your tongue didn't touch any place, your tongue stay down. and thank you so much for this video.
