They decided the best thing to do was open the safe.. This involved the use of special cutting tools.. Bunch of guys hammering away using crowbars, hammers and other crude tools XD.
They said the safe was Polish too

I know right, but there are a bazillion old Roman coins around. Value is determined by quantity and demand. The valuable ones are silver and gold. The bronze are a neat novelty. I have a Constantine the Great bronze coin with clear features. Worth about $30. I like to hand it to friends and tell them it's about 1700 years old. They freak out and wonder if they should be touching it. I like the history of it so I keep it. If they interest you, I got mine from ebay.
