Haha, yea the instructions are not the greatest - Especially if you are not a custom to reading diagrams. I’m glad the video served it’s purpose. Please, subscribe to the channel if you have not already. ✅
An awesome job sir…. If it wasn’t this video I would have had to sleep on the floor for 3 days then spend $100 for someone to do this. Took me hours and breaks and kept pausing until the end and I have my bed up and cute now. So thank you 🙏🏾❤️
I have this exact same bed , I’m Confused with the different screws etc. my bed didn’t come with instructions or the letters on the screws so I can identify which is which. So I’m still confused honestly
Hey KiaMonae! 👋🏾 In the description of this video, you can find a link to the instruction manual to n our website. However, this bed comes in different sizes, so the bed in this video may vary slightly from yours - but they are similar. If you go to Wayfair and search Aadvik bed you can also download the instruction manual for your size bed. After you do that, you should undo what you have assembled and organize all the screws into individual sections. This will allow you to count the screws and match them to what is shown in the manual based on the count. Does this make sense?
Hey there! I’m not totally sure but you can start by contacting the retailer you bought the bed from. They should be able to send you replacement hardware.
Hey Kay! 👋🏾 I use a Milwaukee drill, but this type of drill isn’t required for the bed. You can use a drill more fit for small household projects like a Black and Decker drill. Or you can use the Allen key they provide and a screwdriver. I hope this helps. Please, subscribe to the channel if you haven’t already! ✅🙏🏾
Hey Richie! 👋🏾 If your mattress is the same size as the bed then I don’t see why it wouldn’t work. You need a boxspring for the bed though because it is not a platform bed. I hope this helps. Please, subscribe to the channel if you have not already. ✅
Very nice video. Does the box spring goes on top of the frame? will the frame be able to hold the box spring, the mattress and the people over them. The frame does not look that strong. Or do we just place the Box spring on the ground and mattress on top of it?
Hey Kazi! 👋🏾 The box spring goes directly on top of the wooden support slats. To get a better understanding of how well the bed holds up you should check out verified reviews from customers that have used the bed. I don’t own this bed so I can’t give an opinion based on experience. I hope this puts you in the right direction. Please, subscribe to the channel if you have not already. ✅🙏🏾
Glad you found the video to be helpful. I wear knee pads for every assembly I do. Gotta protect the temple! Please, subscribe to the channel if you have not already! ✅🙏🏾
Hey there! 👋🏾 I think $85-105 is a fair depending on how far you are traveling. If you’re skilled at furniture assembly the assembly should take no more than 30-40 minutes at most. Hope this helps!
You shouldn’t have to superglue anything. You might be using the wrong wood dowel. Reference the parts list of the user manual and make sure you are using the correct size wood dowel. There are 2 different size wood dowels.
@@HighImTri I’m not exactly sure what you are talking about. Reply with the time stamp of the step you are talking about in this video so I know what part you’re on.
Hi Jada! 👋🏾 Good question. The bed comes with an Allen key to use for the bolts. But to fasten the screws you need a standard Phillips head screwdriver. 🪛 I hope this helps. Please, subscribe to the channel if you have not already. ✅
Ok I have holes in my wooden slats on both ends but no hole to screw it into on the side rails if that makes sense..I’m like did they not make holes for the screw to go into on the side rails. I’m so lost & not sure if I should sit my box Springs on it anyway or not
Hi, there shouldn’t be any holes 🕳 n the wooden side rails. There should only be holes at the ends of the wooden slats. So the screw should go through the slats and into the wooden side rails which have NO pilot holes. Make sense?
@@Prime_Spaces yes thanks so much! I ended up doing exactly what you said & hoped that was right. I was just very frustrated when I commented lol! Thanks for the reply!!
Neither are necessary, but are helpful to have. The bed comes with Allen keys to tighten the bolts. A hammer or mallet can also be used briefly to insert the dowel pins into the side rails.
Hi Huy! For this bed you will need a boxspring because it is a standard bed, not a platform bed. Please, subscribe to the channel if you haven’t already! ✅
Recently bought this and assembled everything until the last part(step 5) where I have to screw in the slats. There are no hole and I assume I would need a powerdrill. What I am afraid of is splitting the wood and was wondering how I should proceed. In one of the earlier comments someone had asked a similar question and you had replied by saying making small pilot hole but how do I go about that carefully?
There should be hole on the slates. I’ve lost count how many times I’ve assembled this bed and o I’ve never seen the slates with no holes. Perhaps you have them upside down and the pilot holes are facing down?
@@DANJUMA9 no problem! We assemble furniture daily so our assembly times don’t really represent how long most would take. With this video, though, it can be done in an hour or so. Please, subscribe to the channel if you haven’t already! ✅
In step 3 at 01:42 I am hammering in wood dowel part (G) into the side rails. There are 4 of them and they are slightly thicker than the wood dowel part (F). Then, in step 4 at 02:00 I'm pressing the 2 wood dowels (G) into the 2 top and bottom holes on the wing. It's a bit hard to see it because of the color of the bed. I may make a version 2.0 of this. Should I?
Can you share the time stamp in the video you are talking about, or the step you are talking about? If you are talking about step 4, I believe it’s Part #D bolts - there are 4 of them and they are the thickest of the bolts, second to longest bolts.
@@jordynlasone3182 no it is not supposed to be lose. You are using the wrong bolt. The correct bolts are the ones that are the second tallest and the thickest of all the bolts - there are 4 of them total (2 used on each wing).

@@Prime_Spaces well I’ve finished and the last step is left but there isn’t any holes. What if i just put a box spring and then put my bed without the wood part? I feel without the wood though it isn’t sturdy enough
I wouldn’t recommend that. Do you or anyone you know own a power drill and a drill bit set? All you’ll be doing is drilling very tiny holes at each end of the slats so that you can screw the slats down with the remaining screws. Drilling the small pilot holes at the ends will prevent you from splitting the wood which is likely to happen if you drive the screws in without pilot/predrilled holes.
What part of the frame? There are different bolts for different parts of the frame. What step are you talking about? Or give me the time stamp in the video where I’m using the bolt you are referring to.
