FOR ALL YOU STRANGER THINGS FANS:
When this song first came out, I was 14 years old. I had a copy of this song on Cassette, and would listen to it on my boom box, which I tied to the handle bars of my dirt bike. I was a geeky kid who player artery, and D&D, and explored the remains of the burned down Asylum in the woods past my school.
So when I saw the epic episode of Stranger Things, where Dustin and his girlfriend sing this ,I thought, “…wait, I was that age when that song came out…Holy Crap, I WAS Dustin!”
Except…my girlfriend from out-of-town really was made up. ;)
